here' a good story...

Back in college i lived in a condo. I was waiting for the cable guy to hook up my internet so i was hunting around for wifi networks to use. I noticed one was an unlocked linksys. The internet was slow as balls, but worked. There were some other router names around me that seems to be talking crap, which i thought was funny (one was, "i hate ryan" etc.). So, since i knew the default linksys router ip address and admin password (who doesn't lol) i changed their ssid to "i suck balls."

i swear to god, the damn thing was up for at least 6 months. I suck balls was online forever. The funny thing was is i bet the people who had the router didn't know much about them (hence the lack of security and default admin password). So i could image them going...wtf where did "linksys" go? So they went over the router unplugged it, watched i suck balls go offline, plugged it in, watched i suck balls come online, etc. Then, frustrated (or laughing), they must have said screw it i guess i'll have to use i suck balls. Lmao. So when their friends came over they had to tell them to connect to i suck balls. Imagine them explaining that one. :d

lmao! :)

Heres my current Wi-Fi Network name :)

Eerie! That was exactly what I was going to write! My wi-fi isn't named that but one in my building is. It's a great name, I really laughed out loud (yeah, I have enough spare time to leave abbreviations out ;)) when I first saw it.

Edit: Since my quote doesn't show the image, I'll clarify that I'm talking about "Pretty fly for a Wi-Fi!".

Edit 2: And since I'm here I can as well tell you guys that my wi-fi is called Big Blue. It's a pun, of course, on IBM and the fact that my router is... well, big and blue.

Mine's not very original, but it's my name.

At work right now. I've blacked out our other networks, but the one showing is our test network.

I'm getting ready to move. When I do, I may use it for my wifi :).

i set my friends up and named it "Free Wi-Fi"

I live in an apartment building. I set up a (password protected) guest network called "50 Main Guest Network" (Not my actual address, but the real one uses the real address).

I just looked at the list and spotted a new one somewhere near me - apple.juice

There are about 20-25 WIFI hotspots that my Mac can see, and except one (who uses a web address as SSID) they all use default names.

So I changed mine to "Have boring neighbors".
