Got the 5D Mark III/grip taken care of last night. Might order the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 today. Then it's time to save $6800 for the 300 f/2.8 Mark II. Can't wait!
Some day...
Londinium One espresso machine...
oooooooowwwwwweeeeeee!!! beutiful! Tell me more??
Nothing much more to say...it's gorgeous, incredibly well made, has wonderfully planned features, and is way out of my price range.
Now, if anyone here would like to buy one for me...well, I would like that a whole lot!
I have updated Alex Duetto 2 by Izzo and I love it. Major bling. Next time I upgrade I plan on buying a lever action espresso machine. I need to start researching this now or I will never find the perfect machine.
I apoligize if I'm telling you something you already know...but there are 2 kinds of lever machines - manual piston and spring lever piston.
The manual piston is very difficult to use, really can take years to get consistent results, and still exists almost as an oddity. It is very hard to use properly and get consistent pulls.
BTW: it is the source of the expression "to pull a shot".
The spring piston lever is much easier to master, and it's advantage is that there is no pump to crap out on you. Cocking the spring with the lever replaces the pump.
Anyway, if you get a Londium 1, I don't want to know because I will go into a fit of jealous rage and probably hurt myself!
OK, I'll bite...what the heck is that?
It is called the Hottop roaster.
It is a coffee roaster. It roast 2.2 lbs of coffee in 16 to 20 minutes. This is the pre production model that will be released later this year. It is supposed to be able to roast beans inside your house. It has this chaff collection and smoke control to allow a person to roast inside your home.
19 atm but my goal is to purchase a house for my parents in the future.
