big fan of the B&O H6s

Very nice, and I imagine that you find them comfortable as well as excellent.

Not my picture, but these are my current headphones - Sennheiser MM 500-X (the ones without active noise cancelling)

I don't class myself as an audiophile but can tell the difference between a poor pair and a decent pair of headphones and these have a decent sound without being ridiculously expensive and have the added bonus of folding up for transport and Bluetooth for the times I don't want to be tethered by a cord. They also work as a headset with my phone so pretty happy overrall ;)

Sennheiser has long made some excellent headphones, especially at the top end of their range. How do you find them?

I absolutely love them - easily the best headphones I've ever owned.

As I said, I'm far from an audiophile and had to think long and hard before buying these are they're not cheap but for me they are worth every penny I spent on them: They are very comfortable, well built, not too heavy and sound superb. Also, the Bluetooth audio is very good with them (with an apt-x device it's almost impossible to tell the difference between wired and wireless and even without that they're mightily impressive)

Great! Thanks for the reply and long may you enjoy them.

My very first 'decent' headphones - bought back in the early 1990s when I bought an excellent, very large, rather massive 'stacked' Sony Stereo (that I spent ages paying off on a limited junior lecturer's salary) were a pair of excellent Sennheisers, which cam strongly recommended by the audiophiles who worked in the store where I bought the Sony stereo.

this is my hearphone

I tried out one from Bose and it is the best I've ever had. This is the new QC-25 model just released earlier this year.

I've written a review of the Bose QC-25 in case someone here is seriously checking it out.

Do these work without the battery? I have the Bose QC 20i and they work when the battery is turned off.

Yes, they work without the battery.. I'd mentioned that in the article too :)

However, the sound quality without the battery is lame.

I just got the Philips Fidelio M2BT. They sound pretty good. But I like my Stance S1+ better. I'm going to check out the Siny MDR-1BTMK2 next.

anyone having issues with the mic/volume remote? I purchased a pair of beats solo 2 and it does not work, I worked a few times but now its not working at all, tested on 2 different iPhones

is this an issue with my cable or a known issue with iOS 8?

I've got the new Beats Studio and the inline remote is fine, although it went a bit haywire the other day it still hasn't failed on me... yet.

B&W P5's on Amazon lightening deals at 7. I got this deal this time last year. Think I paid about £130.

Beautiful. I have 1964 Ears V6-Stage and it's the ultimate. That + FLAC = audio heaven. So what do you use for serious listening?

My serious listening rig is sad. Yuin PK1s + Xin Mini IV +rockboxed nano. I sold off my grado collection and tube amps for more portable rigs since I don't have the time to listen at home too often.

It's just ever so slightly better than my fun rig, but my ears can breathe with the yuins.

Why would you use a worse rig for serious listening?

Im getting the Sony MDR 1A(No 1R's in stock and price is 20ish euros difference)? Would I benefit from a DAC(looking at the Fiio E07k)? I have a iMac, mbp and an iPhone5s(planing on getting a 6+) that I listen to music on.
Thanks
