That was pretty funny, yeah I didnt realize they were made by Monster, now that I know that, I definitely feel less inclined to drop $300 on them.

How do you like them? I really want to make sure I am getting a quality set of headphones before I drop $300 on them.

They're big, somewhat ugly and in some cases, fragile, but they are comfortable and the sound is quite good. I only wish that you can use them even without batteries or with the noise cancellation feature off (like the Philips NC headphones that I bought from Costco).

Yeah thats what I heard was bothering people about them. Now that I have done a fair amount of research, I have decided against buying them, and looking into some cheaper alternatives. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

Recently got these Vibe IIs as warranty replacements and they're decent. Considering getting the new Beats as they're cheaper and somewhat...less ugly/loud but wonder if they'll sound good and if i really want to support Monster

I have a pair of Sennheisers 280HD.. and I just got back from Best Buy, and tried to Beats by dre they had.. They blow my Sennheisers out of the water. Sound better, and they are way more comfortable.

I might be getting these.

the ones at my best buy were f%&(ed up. they were so freaking loud and had no volume switch and they were like falling apart.

haha checked out the new microsoft store in mission viejo, took a break from studying, its uhhh

Just picked up a pair of Sennheiser CX-400II & some Comply Foam tips for them for bus journeys. They're alright, bit disappointed with mids - bit heavy on highs & lows for me.

I'm not an audiophile but I love mine. They sound amazing and look really slick. They look better in real life.

I like that you can use them with an iPhone because they have a button and mic. I know Monster is apparently known for being way overrated as a cable manufacturer, but the cord is actually something I am really impressed by. It feels sturdy and does not get tangles. The bass is really good without being overpowering, and the overall sound is the best I've ever heard.

Not a headphone expert, just satisfied with my purchase.

I still like my $30 Sony in ear buds. Plus I know if I had $200 ear buds I would break or lose them within a day.
