Is it possible with this calendar widget size to tap on another day at the right side to see events of that day? Or will tapping it just open the calendar app?
Just opens the calendar app. I believe *all* widgets are not able to be interacted with in any way, apart from clicking it to open the underlying app.

They don't even refresh properly at the moment, although I'm assuming that'll improve over the beta cycle.

I agree. I'm really annoyed that my firm won't let us bring our exchange email/calendar into the apple apps, we need to use the Outlook app. I really like the calendar widget but it would only show my personal stuff. :(

We have the same issue, but I use a simple workaround. I assume you use Outlook and Microsoft Exchange at work. You can send a read only share invite to your iCloud account from Outlook Desktop or Web from the calendar screen. In iCloud calendar you will then get a subscription to your work calendar, which can be shown in the Apple calendar app (or any other calendar app). It also works with Gmail, but Gmail refreshes the subscription only once per 24 hours while iCloud refreshes whenever you want.

Sports alert app is my favourite app for glancing at sport scores so I hope this will be updated as a widget which I imagine all current widgets on iOS 13 will update theirs for iOS 14

Really loving the new layouts. The problem is, I can’t stop messing with it. Honestly thought I’d hate not having my page of carefully organized folders but I’m getting used to the library.

I am really looking forward to 3rd party widgets. I have a feeling I’ll end up with many widget pages but for now, I have just two.

Omg this is a game changer! I did it with google first and you’re right... way too slow. Now I subscribe to my work calendar right in my iPhone. It’s so cool! Can’t wait to see it work in CarPlay (I hated always having an empty calendar there). Thank you!

Ha when I left android I thought I don’t care too much about widgets but when public beta is out I can imagine I will have pages full of widgets I imagine.

The one thing I could never get into on Android was home screen widgets. Now for some reason they look different and not a gaudy on iOS. 🤔
Reminds me more of live tiles on Windows Phone, always thought that was a nice balance between organised grid and displaying at-a-glance info. I like the stacks implementation here too, nice way of saving space!

I’m liking the widgets so far, may switch out the Siri suggestions for folders and ditch the app library.

Siri suggestions
Stack 1 - Calendar, Reminders, Notes (My productivity stack)
Stack 2 - News, Weather, Stocks, Photos, Maps, Podcasts, Fitness (My information stack)

App library should have a toggle “Automatic” and “manual” where manual is user defined folders. or.. a listing of apps that can be assigned a folder. Finance apps do not belong with productivity, Calculator is not a utility, nor is Wallet

Messed around a lot and finally settled on just one stacked widget at the top. I did remove all my apps except for the ones on the main home screen. Probably had about 150 apps organized in folders all added to library. Nothing in page 2. A swipe to the left brings me to the library. Love the fact we don’t have to have every app downloaded on a home screen.

That weather widget padding looks awfully off at the bottom. I hope that‘s not how it‘s supposed to be.

It‘s still early on, if we all send feedback suggestions for the App library we may very well get them to tweak it for us.
It‘s a tiny chance but it‘s there, same as with the Siri interface not allowing you to scroll the background content (Craig said they have that working too but felt it‘s too confusing, but they‘re monitoring feedback to see if it‘s something the userbase wants).

I‘ve obsessed over this way too long...o_O No second page, just takes me straight to the app library.

Is "obsessed ... way too long" even a thing? Isn't "too long" the essence of obsessing? #inquiringMindsWantToKnow

Heck, tweaking and obsessing are the best part of riding the beta rollercoaster - at least for me.

And the worst part of the beta train is that most of the tweaking and obsessing is done without the aid of third party apps - because they cannot yet play.
