Hello!I bought a 3gs .In the back side of the box, it was written - Demo, not for resale- . I believe I have a defective batery e.g. 43% of battery and Usage: 2hours 25minutes and Standby : 2 hours 47 minutes.I have 3g off,wi-fi off,push from im on. What do you believe?

I asked the seller and said it isn't a problem.It has no differences from other models,but it has some apps because it is for model.Does the demo-phone has some problem?
No,it is legal shop.I bought normally and they also gave me a warranty.But i believe it is too little for the battery to work only for 4 hours.

OK I will return it to the shop where I bought it and ask for a new 3gs.Thanks for the information.

When I bought by 3GS, i did not think the battery was any worse or better than the 3G. However, having read through many threads I did a test today and it seems my battery may be indeed a little weak. I am very aware that Push, even on one account, is a huge battery suck (and as a side note, i am not sure why as BB's have this feature and it does not seem to have the same kind of impact on/off).
I fully charged my phone and turned off all services except for location and 3G. Push was disabled and my two email accounts were set to fetch every 15 mins. I took the phone off the charger at 10am this morning.
It is now at 37% with the following stats:
Usage: 2H 34Mins
Standby: 9H 1Mins
Call Time: 17 Mins
Data
Sent: 670KB
Rece: 10MB
These stats include listening to my ipod for 30 mins, listening to AOL radio for 15 mins, playing tiger woods for 20 mins, and using G-map GPS for a 1 hour roadtrip. The rest is some light surfing and other stuff.
Thoughts? Seems pretty bad to me.

GPS and location services is a battery sucker.
Also, A BB doesn't have nearly as much going on as an iPhone. It doesn't have half the size of the screen, nor can it do the same things an iPhone can. If you turned off 3G and WIFI and just used the phone for phone calls and texts, you'd get days of usage. Days.

mine is better
Mine seems to keep getting better.
This last day, I used a lot of location services, lots of 3g, did a fair amount of texting, about 30% was on WIFI in the house and office, the rest was web surfing and five email accounts which I checked frequently but are on 30 minute FETCH timers.

I think that's very good......How many charging cycles before you got these results ?
I've had the phone for a little over a month now. It's probably had at least 25 full charge cycles. I try not to let it dip below 40% battery before throwing it back on the charger. I also make sure to run the battery down completely once every two weeks (one more than Apple recommends per month). Tonight was one of those times.
I'm very happy with my battery life. I think the more people that post stats, regardless of the supposed condition of the battery, the better idea we will have of a true average.

Thank you. To be honest, I was worried about my battery during the first week or two, but I soon forgot about it and just enjoyed the phone for what it was. I plan on running it ragged for the next two years until the quad core, 1GB RAM, OLED, iPhone 5 comes out
Today I got 5hrs usage and 12hrs of standby. Better than yesterday. That was sitting on 3G all day too with just browsing and mail.
I've noticed that it drops from 100% to about 80% pretty quick and then seems to slow down..... Odd but it's what I've noticed.

I don't mind...I will turn push email on for one of my accounts after I charge the phone next time and will post with results.
I'm currently at:
Usage 2 hours and 2 min
Standby 1 Day and 18 hours
Talk time on 3G 40 min
Still have 55% left. My goal is 5 hours of usage time and 3 days of standby time using my current settings..let's see
