KentuckyHouse...I'm having somewhat of the same problem. I am able to change my temperature to the correct Fahrenheit setting, but I sill have the "C"for Celcius next to the numbers rather than the "F" symbol. I used the yahoo code for my city rather than my postal zip code to change to the correct temperature reading though. I typed my zip code into the yahoo weahter page and used the number which http address bar. Again, the numeric temperature is reading right, I just can't get the C to change into an F.

Hmm. I tried using the yahoo location code (for me it's USKY1079), but that just resulted in the temp and conditions showing "...". Honeyroo, did you use JUST the number from the code (1079 as above) or did you use the entire code using the letters in front of it?

When using my ZIP code, I get what I described above...a much different temperature and the C for Celcius that you're talking about.

I hope LEXS or BigWalt can figure this out. It sounds like others are having similar problems too.

I didn't use the letter and number code which I usually do using many of LEXS themes, instead I used a number code which is different. For instance, using New York, New York as an example: The letter and number combination is USNY0096 however, if you just type the city into the front page of the yahoo weather page you get the simple yahoo 5 day forcast with the code at in address bar as "2459115". This is different than the postal zip code and is specific to the yahoo weather site. This numeric code is the one that I used which gave me the correct numeric temperature, but I still can't change the C to an F. Hope this might help a little.

Hey Lex,

This might be a stupid question - but is it possible to install this instead of on the lockscreen on the first page of the springboard above the docks, maybe where the fourth row of icons is?

Thanks, Honeyroo. I'll give this a shot and see if I get the same thing you're getting.

*edit* Yep, that did it. Now I'm getting the same result you're getting, that is, it's showing the correct temperature, but it's showing a C for Celcius and not the F for Fahrenheit.

BigWalt and LEXS, hope this helps you guys narrow down what the problem is. It seems as though the code might just be missing the Fahrenheit designation, possibly?

Honeyroo, I found a fix (although I'm not sure if it's the REAL fix for the problem or if it just mitigates it), but whatever...lol...it now shows a F for Fahrenheit.

If you open the Wallpaper.html and go to line 1511 you'll see this:

document.getElementById("temp").innerHTML=tempValue+ "°c";

I simply changed the "c" at the end of the line to "f" and, lo and behold, it worked. I'm now showing the correct temperature WITH the F for Fahrenheit. The line of code should now look like this:

document.getElementById("temp").innerHTML=tempValue+ "°f";

It may not be the RIGHT fix (or, I may have lucked out and actually got it right...you know what they say about a blind squirrel), but it fixes the problem for now, as you can see:

Great...glad I could help...I'll keep my eye out for the Celcius solution.

Thanks! Made the change and all looks good...nice job!

OOO...LEXS, if you wouldn't mind uploading this LS, I'd be very appreciative! :D It's gorgeous!

And I'm having a weird issue with the Kruse SB widget that I've never encountered before. I've got it set up in the "corners" version, with the temp in the top right, the conditions in the top left, and the calendar at the bottom. I'm using the correct (English) Wallpaper.html file and I've set the weather correctly using my ZIP code but for some reason, the temperature keeps showing up as 36 degrees Celcius. That's like 95 degrees Fahrenheit!? Trust me, it's about 60 F here in Kentucky...lol.

I'm not sure what the deal is. Here's the actual file that's on my phone...can someone take a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Where can I find the widget to look at the prob you guys are having?

Ha, ha...I was just about to respond when I scrolled down and saw this response. It cracked me up! :D

By the way, that screen shot you posted above looks fantastic! I really like the icons and the subtle widget. Oh, and the O2 carrier logo in honor of LEXS is a GREAT touch! Very nice!

Thanks! That's the prestige theme w/ iflat II weather widget...

As for the fix I knew it but wasn't home to look for exact location, but knew what to tell you and by the time I had it typed out you found it!

How do I change the format to MM/DD/Year? As well as moving the weather to the center? TIA

Also how would I change the font to match mine?

In your LockBackground.html, look for function calendarDate. Make sure that this line looks like this..

Code:
document.getElementById("calendar").firstChild.nodeValue = this_month_name_array[this_month] + "/" + this_date_name_array[this_date] + "/" + this_year//concat long date string

and not like this…

Code:
document.getElementById("calendar").firstChild.nodeValue = this_date_name_array[this_date] + "/" + this_month_name_array[this_month] + "/" + this_year//concat long date string

To center the weather, go to Private/Stylesheets/mini.css and change the position on temp and weatherIcon. I don't have the city showing in the screenshot, so if you do have your city showing, you'll have to change that too. Here's how I have my positioning set…

Code:
#temp{

	position: absolute; top:188px; right: 0px; down: 0px; left: 113px; width: 256px; height: 481px;

	font-family: Neutraface;
	font-weight: bold;

	color:#tan;
	text-shadow:#a1a1a1 0px 1px 1.5px;

	font-size: 60px;

	text-transform: uppercase;
	opacity: 0.4;

#weatherIcon{

	margin-top:0px;

	position: absolute; top: 220px; right: 0px; down: 0px; left: 159px; width: 320px; height: 461px;

	height:60;

	width:60;

Looking good... LOVE THAT WIDGET!

@Tems.... I make a transparent png file (think 320x92 maybe for my 3gs) and name it Dock.png. Put it into your main themes folder (with Bundles, Folder, Info.plist, DOCK.PNG, etc)

How can I have no dock on my sb like yours? And could you post your wallpaper please?

What I do is create a Transparent Dock and name it SBDockBG@2x.png and place in com.apple.springboard remove Dock Mask which will gives you the reflection.
or
I believe there is something on cydia called Dock remove or something like that

SNAP Jason

Thanks re widget at the moment can only get it to work with wallpaper (3g size) have tried all kind of ways
