I'm a lil rusty at themes...can someone please answer a question for me?

Do I need to HAVE winterboard to change in and out things? ie slider, dock, taskbar, etc?

Yes Winterboard for most tweaks/themes and customization control. Some apps/tweaks are stand alone that have their own settings. Also, dream board for full themes is worth a look as well.

I can't get anything to install from Cydia. It keeps giving me some sort of HTML error and nothing will install.

Can someone PM me?
 
This is my first time JBing my iPhone, and I can't get themes to work.

I made a folder, and inside that folder I put another folder named "Icons", and in that folder I put in the 60x60 .png files I wanted to use as icons, and renamed them to the name of the app, and put it in /Library/Themes. It shows up on the list of themes on Winterboard, but when I respring, none of the app icons change. I tried turning on SummerBoard, and it partially worked. The icons changed, but went back to the default after a couple seconds. Can anyone help me with this?

EDIT: And also, how do you make a transparent dock?

Where can I find the images to re-theme the background of the Safari (when dragging) and behind the an email message (when also dragging)?

Still need to fix a few icons (doesn't look like Google maps is themed)

Icons are ayecon, iconoclasm to move the icons, and 5 icon dock are about it as far as visuals go.
