After a few hours of playing around with themes, and reading this thread. I am finally satisfied. :D

Although I do have a question:

Does anyone know of a BiteSms theme that would like nice with the ayecon theme? I've tried searching for a dark one, and nothing comes up sadly.
Can you share the widget?

Anyone know of simple/small/minimal page dots for iPhone 5? I don't know if I even want to keep them but if I do I kind of want them themed. Thanks :)

I try to keep it as minimal as possible. I hate clutter. I know the wallpaper isn't exactly minimal, but it seemed too boring with a solid background.

I have Simple LS too. How did you change the default wallpaper for the lockscreen? Mine is stuck on the blue cityscape one it comes with.

I'm probably in the minority in not using springtomize or tweaks to get rid of icon labels, or changing or removing my "slide to" text. I just prefer to add source to my .plist or bundles to remove icon labels, or edit/remove "slide to" text.

As for editing or removing the "slide to" text... you can try the following...

example:

/var/stash/themexxx/base.theme or LS.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard

Within the the "com.apple.springboard" create a folder named "en.lproj". Next, create a file named "SpringBoard.strings", and copy/paste the following source in it:

PHP:
"AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "slide to unlock";
"POWER_DOWN_LOCK_LABEL" = "slide to shut down";
"SLIDE_TO_ANSWER" = "slide to answer";

You can change the text above to your preferences.

If you want to take out the "slide to unlock" and "slide to answer" text, just make the following edits in the "SpringBoard.strings" file:

PHP:
"AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "";
"POWER_DOWN_LOCK_LABEL" = "slide to shut down";
"SLIDE_TO_ANSWER" = "";

I just remove the slide to unlock text on my lock screen... and the example above is they way I do it.

Anyhow... hope this helps...
:)

Hey, my current theme has these lines edited the way you're suggesting, but whenever I recieve a call, it still shows "slide to answer". However, in other cases the text isn't visible. Any ideas?

Just go into winter board and put the user lock background and user wallpaper at the top of the list and check them. That's what worked for me... I am glad it did too, because I would not have been able to use it otherwise.

i meant to say the new message icon on the lockscreen. i need it on my iphone 5 as well. so that i can reply from th lockscreen. thanks! I installed bitesms and i have got this icon in my notification centre. But how to get it in lockscreen?

Oh, that's not my lockscreen, but my notification center. I'm sure that you could find an app that can allow you to do that, though. First one that comes to mind is IntelliscreenX, though I haven't tried it.

That's sexy my girl would love that.

Thank you :)

Sorry about that. I've always usually use the source to hide my "slide to unlock". I never bothered to change the other "slide to" text... so I haven't tested or used that since it stopped working. Apparently, the "SLIDE_TO_ANSWER" text change stopped working in iOS 5 from what read. That's probably why there isn't a way to do it in springtomize.
