For some reason, I couldn't get the AT&T logo to stay. It would only operate while I was in Cydia. As soon as I closed it out, it went back to the regular "letters". WTF? I need to find that 5 icon dock, just to mess with people.

Respring and it should work fine.

its a winterboard theme i forget the name but its something like macdesktop he also has 5 icon dock

im kinda suprised a lot of you dont have much on your phones as far as apps go.

haha yeah i've actually been wanting that dock since my iPhone 3g :(

That is the Akanaz Glass Orb theme. The background is something I added (can't remember where I got it...I think I just googled wallpapers until I found what I liked). For the wallpaper, you'll have to remove the default theme wallpaper from its folder via SSH.

Also, I removed icon labels via Winterboard.

I've done some personal tweaking via SSH as well but, basically, that's it.

Thanks for the response! I'm not sure I understand what you mean about removing the default theme wallpaper. How can I go about doing so? As of now, my background has changed from the light blue iOS4 wallpaper to some black/grayish wallpaper when I try to customize it.

Question: First time jail breaking, well first iphone lol. So anyways I went to the site everything went smoothly and I want the custom ATT logo that was shown up above.

So I downloaded and installed the bigboss at&t carrier logo.. But it doesn't show up? Do I have some setting to enable it?

Also this is kinda unrelated and if it was posted somewhere I will just search later but any quick tip on how to avoid downloading anything shady? Do I stick to things signed?

*edit*

I fail didn't get the one for iphone4

Go:

var/stash/Themes/Akanaz

Inside you will find a file called "wallpaper.png". Delete this file (or cut and paste it to save for later if you want). This will allow for iOS 4 to apply wallpapers through the usual process.

You must SSH into your phone in order to do this or use an app like iFile. In essence, you will be browsing the file structure just as you would on OSX or Windows.

Hope that helps.

Got it, thanks!

Question about the carrier logo...I edited my carrier name a while ago using a guide someone here posted (involved using a program called iBackitup (or something like that) and inserting a <fakecarriername> string into the actual iPhone backup file, then resyncing it. I tried putting the AT&T logo up there using the cydia package and it didn't work...does this mean I would have to undo what I did with the fakecarrier string thing?

I really like the minimalistic approach u guys do with your phone. Having the home screen completely empty to show off the wallpaper.

Though, I question its practicality in usefulness. Doesn't it bother u guys that you have to tap a few extra taps to get to the same thing as if the single tap of the icon on the homescreen? ;)

Heres mine. I wish "No Page Dots" worked. :(

Heres another screenshot. The theme is called dock flow 3. You also need to download the 5 dock icons.
