I <3 Circuit City and working there.

You all should definitely check out any older items, clearance sections, etc.

The computer will constantly drop the price until its gone.

Like we have 3.9 cubic foot mini fridges for 45 or so. YMMV though.

Thanks Newegg! :D

Just because HD-DVD didn't win the format war doesn't mean that they don't work anymore. They are still in HD and they are the same movie that is on Blu-Ray and they do the same thing, so why not spend very little money on them?

Just picked up an Airport Express 802.11n base station.

Exactly. Furthermore, some of those movies are not available on Blu-ray yet. (Serenity, Lost In Translation, Dune) To top it all off, I like HD-DVD more than Blu-ray. It is more consumer friendly (no region codes, greater reliability, lower price). It's a shame that Warner switched to the dark wrong side. When Blu-ray movies start selling in the $15-$20 range I might start buying Blu, but chances are HD downloads will be more readily available by then.

I already prefer to buy & rent movies through iTunes/AppleTV, the only thing it's missing is a greater selection of movies.

Also, the PS3 is a waste of money at this time. There's no reason to buy one until 2009 at the earliest.

Been wanting to read this for awhile, finally got a chance to drop by Barnes and Noble and pick it up. Should get through it pretty quickly, I'll be spending a lot of time waiting at airports and on airplanes the rest of this week....

So sorry to see you are suffering from allergies. I've been lucky so far this year, but I fear my time of freedom will come to an end once it decides to stop snowing every other day.
Yeah it is definitely full blown spring here; it was 85 today. Luckily my allergies aren't too bad (I didn't used to have them at all before a few years ago). I have really itchy eyes though -- those eye drops are fantastic, better than the visine allergy I think. I'm ready for some rain to wash away some of this junk though. I have a black car and it's turning yellow! Best of luck to you (& your nose & eyes...) once the snow melts away.
