SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

Brand new in the box, $1900 shipped, I didn't actually mean to purchase it RIGHT now, but what can ya do, looks like I'll be giving the 15" MBP to the wife, or buying a 20" display and putting it on the desk.

Also bought this:

That's the mStand Rain and a new Apple Bluetooth keyboard. And yes, it's my non-Apple notebook. I use my Mini at home, and used the notebook at school. Now that school is over, I'm trying a few things out.

I want to get used to the Bluetooth keyboard now so that I can see about using it with a computer on my TV. Editing to add: I bought this keyboard with my iPhone rebate from last year. So, effectively it's free because I never expected the rebate when Apple gave it out.

Haha wow did you really buy this!?!? It would just end up in my closet :D

I need one of these in my front yard...it will keep people from turning around in mah yard!!:p

Naw, I wish. I am looking for a really good remote controlled one though, or the parts to build one myself.

If I had a real full sized one I'd put it in my parking space after I leave, so the looser BMW drive wouldn't take up two spaces.

Bought a Creative MuVo N200 for $30:

Works natively with iTunes for syncing-one of the few non-Apple players to support sync via iTunes.

Also the on-device MP3 encoding is unique and very cool to have.

You sure? I had one before I got my Shuffle and I had to drag and drop tracks onto it like a USB drive.

Oddly enough, I just saw one yesterday while driving to work. (in Santa Clara, CA) Looked like it needed a good cleaning.

It's weird seeing a car with such a low roof-line coming towards you in the opposite lane of traffic. Took me a few seconds before I realized what model of car it was.

I have never seen one before, I guess they are way more rare in the UK.

EDIT: Like your signature :D

Welcome to the club. :)

I just hope we finally see the Mini updated so I can update and turn this Mini into an iTunes / Time Machine server.

Just got it off ebay..expect it to arrive on saturday. Paid $320.00 new, S/H included. Amazon has it now at $360.00. I remember when it first came out a year ago at $400 and I knew I wanted one but couldn't see paying more than $300 for it. I guess after years of reading off my computer and this year off my macbook, I was ready to drop the money for the thing. If Apple makes a reader this year I will be pissed. Steve did say that he didn't believe enough people read anymore (bulls**t) but who knows. And yes, the Kindle is ugly.
