Bought this yesterday. I have no clue about anything to do with photography but have always been really interested. I did my research and figured this would be a good way to start
I'm jealous. I didn't have enough money to buy a DSLR. I went with the 3S IS. (Someday, I will have the $.)
How many pennies did that projector set you back? When I go HD (for the living room, that is) I plan on going DLP projector.
About US$1600 ($2200 - $600 rebate), plus another $30 for a 25 foot DVI to HDMI cable. It has set me back a bit. No more buyin' stuff for a few months, that's for sure.

BT is a LOT more laggy than using a dedicated 2.4ghz channel. Trust me, I tried several BT mice, and ALL of them had poor range, intermittent signal drops, and serious lag.
Using the dedicated dongle is the cats a$$, excellent range, zero drop-outs, and no lag whatsoever.
If they could only create a "stubby" dongle, for the laptops.

I'm going to install these with Vista Business on my EEE 1000h. It will bring the total cost of my computer to: $670.00
Eee $450.00
SSD $150.00
2GB $40.00
exDVD$30.00
Vista $(free lucky me)
And its $2000.00 cheaper than a comparable MBA. But I don't get OSX (but I could).. but I don't get the screen real estate (but I may have a touchscreen later).. And I do have superior battery. (unless I'm overclocked to 1.8 or 2.0 in which case.. I'm out performing the AAPL)

Just saw these guys live the other week. If you like yr muzik loud, definitely a show worth checking out. My ears were aching for a couple days afterwards. Punishing, but blissful noise.
