^ mmm that burger looks too good. ive heard how good In-N-Out is all the way over here in Australia. ill have to visit one if i ever get to the US… especially in SF!… when MacWorld is on!

PROTIP: to attach a pic without the attachment border (which i presume you where trying to do) preview it first and then click on the paperclip drop down menu and select the attachment. it will show in your post as ""

I have a nikon d40 too, its a great camera

Yeah I'm hoping it will work out. At school we're using Canon Rebel XTI's and I really love working with them, but I went with the D40 over the Rebel XT because of the larger screen. I'm debating if I should return the D40 and get an XT or spend some more money and go for the XTI...

Since seeing it in this thread, I have been reading up reviews on the D40 - and they're all generally positive.

I currently have a Canon IXUS 60. Would the D40 take much better pictures?

A gazzillion times better :p Im not a pro photographer at all but once you learn some tricks and basic stuff you'll get some awesome pics.

Also remember it isn't all about the megapixels, there are a lot of facts I really don't know/care about involved in Digitial Single Lens Reflex cameras (DSLR) that makes them much much much better than the average camera.
