There are millions of folks dying in the world of starvation, which could have been prevented with $100 dollars of food per person per year.

And you spent close to $100 on tea leaves and cups?
for the record. it was 70$, 20$ was for shipping.
Oh for goodness sake, leave it out.
get ready for it

Wow, really? You really had to bring that up?...
its comming
Think how many people you could have fed with that Mac sitting on your desk.

Seriously, this a last purchase thread, on a forum whose main user base use one of the most expensive commercial computers, and you really think that most items on here aren't going to be luxuries?

On a slightly more on-topic note, some chips:
almost there...

"LASIK is the best thing since Internet Pr0n. Worth every freaking dime. "

You spent all that money on cosmetic surgery when MILLIONS of children around the world need glasses and you could have gotten yourself AND another hundred kids a pair of glasses so that they could read and further educate themselves to make the world a better place

Not so fun, is it?

^

thats what i thought.

So yeah, that's probably the latest thing I purchased (though it won't be paid off for 12 months) I did have a Grande Pumpkin Spice Creme Frap this morning from SBs mmmmmmmmmmmm and a cheese danish! :p

Fatbrain - that's a really nice looking house. I have to ask though, what kind of countertop did you use? In the small version it looks like granite or silestone type material, but the big version shows a block pattern. Is that some sort of granite block system instead of sheets?

The countertop is made of 12" x 12" granite tiles like you would use on the floor. It's much cheaper and looks great.

Not concerned.

Wow! Very nice looking on the inside. Congrats! I like then open layout. That kitchen beckons for a stainless steel dishwasher instead of the white. Other than that, very nice:)

I spent over 300 hours on the floorplan. The house was originally going to end up being a rental, so I didn't spend a lot of time and money on awesome appliances.

Hey look, another Utahan! Like the house! Congrats and good luck with moving in.

Thanks.

love the high ceilings and the color is sexy. I think black or stainless appliances would look a lot better though

We used colors from the Ralph Lauren Urban Loft collection. We really like them. The walls are 100% white, flat finish. The grey looks great.

I design home automation systems and home theaters for a living and I will be ordering projector and all that junk next week. I'll post in the show your HT thread when it is done.

Oh you woman. If he earned the money, he can spend it how he wishes, right? The world doesn't need more of you picky do-gooders telling people how to be moral.

Anywho. Latest purchase would be...:

A new dokha pipe, from the new shop just up the Beach Road. Pic is off Google image search, and the new pipe today cost Dhs. 320. It IS a nice pipe, though.

okay I'm officially hungry now. Leftover pizza and a beer isn't exactly the dinner I had expected. You should be a food photographer... it's actually difficult to take pictures of food and have it look appetizing.

My last purchase was two cans of Ubuntu Cola. Never tried it before and kinda liked the taste. The main reason I bought them was because of the name :D
(You know, Ubuntu, the Linux distro...right?...whatever)
