If it's coming from a friend, they should have a receipt?
There should be a serial # on the back of the lug at 7:00.
You could call Omega to verify the serial #.
A jeweller (or you) can also take the back off to check the movement to see if it's an Omega as well. The pic is pretty poor so it's too hard to tell by looking at it.

If it's in nice shape, that's a great price.
Here's a pic with the back off (this is the automatic movement).
Not sure if yours is auto or quartz.

No receipt, as he just got rid of it. I trust him. The thing looks great and is a quartz. Wanted an auto, but for 500 instead of 1900 how could I say no.

I just went to omega's website and put in the serial number. They will get back to me to see if it fits the casing. I need some links put on as well, so the jeweler who does that can confirm it as well.

I am excited to have a nice watch!

50 song gift card to itunes....i used my amex points to get it so i guess that kind of qualifies as a purchase.

Is it metal or plastic? I saw on Le Baron's site that the pellet guns are around 1.5 pounds. Not terribly heavy, but I'm afraid they might be plastic and the extra weight is just because of the CO2 canister. Am I wrong?
