Speaking of watches, I just got one as a graduation present.
Originally, I posted in a watch thread (Community section, not here) saying I bought a Raymond Weil traditional watch. I wanted a plainer watch like this one or a Movado, and definitely didn't want another chronograph.
Afterwards, I decided I wasn't so sure.
I wanted something less traditional than I originally thought. I'm a fan of dials with unique colours and details. Found an even nicer Raymond Weil "Tango" for around $1100 USD (forgot), but it used quartz. D'oh! Saw an even NICER Raymond Weil Freelancer. It was everything I wanted, but I couldn't read the time in either bright light, or low light.
The dark brown face and darkish numbers were too dark to read clearly (the numbers aren't as bright as in the photo). Ended up buying this: Hamilton Viewmaster. It looks similar to the RW Freelancer. I hate the colour gold, but this watch is "rose gold". It's a beautiful colour, and I'm very excited!!!
Here are some photos I took. The dial should be a strong creamy-silver colour, not white or silver. I took them quickly and didn't colour correct them.

It really isn't a golden colour. It's like a pink gold. I absolutely abhor the colour "gold". I wish it was easier to capture the colour accurately with my camera (white balance is a bit off). I think the colour shows up best in the first photo I posted.
I guess it's like a pink stainless steel mixed with a bit of orange. It's really hard to describe. It's like the colour of rosé (wine), but much lighter.
And yes, it's an automatic. That was one of the requirements, as I didn't have one at all. If I didn't see this watch, I would have paid the extra $400 or so for the Raymond Weil. My next watch will definitely be a Raymond Weil because I like many of their styles and yet don't own one, but things didn't go according to plan and I got the Hamilton with the weird colour.

I see the color you are talking about. A reddish gold, like copper. Nice.

Not a bad choice. One of those slightly dystopian movies.. Not nearly as dark as Blade Runner but somehow just as hopeless. I love it!

You could have had a Logitech MX Revolution but you bought that. Well, I wish you good luck because you're going to need it.
I use my MM more than my MX Revolution, the MX is sitting in my drawer right now. I like using the MM more.
