The reason somebody asked is because your picture isn't displaying as Akibanews prevents hotlinking of their images.
Well it's not my pic, but I can see it.

Is there a difference?

yes, to say someone lied is to accuse them of willfully trying to deceive you.

calling bs is more of a proclamation that you think that the information provided to you is false, but you are not accusing anyone of trying to deceive you

Kenneth Cole tie bar for my skinnier ties. Dressing up tonight, so I'll get a chance to try it out.

My latest is a Logitech MX 1100 which has been returned as faulty, but my replacement should come pretty soon.

One of the counselors at my school has that mouse.
The other day I was using it in his office and it is one hell of a mouse! Totally worth getting!
Congrats!

Ah ok. In the situation in which she said it, I've never heard of it used to mean this before. Must be a regional thing. If you say "I call BS" as a reply to what someone else says, usually it means you think he's lying. Here, I think someone would have said, "Really? That's BS!!"

After reading your post, and reading the post again, I guess I can sort of see it....

Semantics...
If the original source is aware the information they're providing is false, then that information is both BS and a lie.
Don't lose sleep over it ;)

I take it you're forced to ride in icy conditions? Those are some rather nice tires. They just look fierce!

I think I'm going to take my bike in today to get some road tires on it. Right now they're dirt tires because I rode mostly on dirt back in California. Around here I think road tires will be most appropriate.

Yes there is and if you're confused you can PM me and we can discuss further.

Exactly. But my guess is Abstract would rather bait me and start something that isn't worth starting than just simply see my response to the kid and his proclamation that he has the full retail box versus what the rest of the "up-to-date" candidates receive.

In the end does it matter if he gets a retail box? Not so much. Does it matter that I called BS? Apparently it matters to the person it was directed to AND Abstract.

That pretty much sums it up, but as said before, I wasn't calling the kid a liar. I'm pretty sure people around here know I'll call you a liar if so inclined. I won't hide behind semantics.

Should have bought those already few months ago, but better now than never. One tyre has 304 studs and weighs 980 grams. Weather has been great for riding for the past few weeks. Still, waiting eagerly for summer, road cycling feels like flying in the air after this. :)

Hmm, I bought these:

Bought flat shoelaces, hopefully those are better when playing.
