^^^Nice.

What is T4.5?? I'm not familiar with Sony lens nomenclature.

It sounds like an interesting lens.

This lens is designed and made with one goal in mind: To render the out-of-focus areas of an image (widely called bokeh) as smoothly and aesthetically pleasing as possible. To achieve this goal Minolta engineers have used a special "apodization element" near the main aperture.

All other up to date DVDs have just been the drop in type DVD where it comes in limited packaging. I doubt it'll be a retail box. Then again, I'd prefer it to just be a digital download ... that's just me.

I have been told it's an fully boxed edition, crosses fingers.

Mine is out for delivery today, so I'll let you know!

It's most likely NOT.

I got my up-to-date copy delivered a few minutes ago. It is a DVD in a sleeve with installation instructions. It is not a retail box.

I bought this used off amazon last week for $40 since there was no way I was paying $70 for a mouse; it arrived yesterday in perfect working condition. I know many people hate this product, but I personally like the scroll bar. I use it all the time in iPhoto and on webpages and in the finder. I like the clean look of the Mighty Mouse as well. I also didn't want to have a USB dongle to plug in, like most third party mice.

Yeah there is no way they'd give the full retail box for a variety of reasons. The main one being people paid $10.00 for it. The other is resale is harder that way; or they'd like to assume. I'm sure people can easily sell the drop-in for a profit.

You really should take advantage of the Euro/Pound ridiculousness.

It's incredible really. I was home in Ireland over Christmas and went up north to Belfast to pick up a new Macbook Pro, and saved a third on the price with the exchange rate. Over the holidays there were queues of traffic to get into the bigger towns just over the border :D

Internet shopping isn't as handy though, it's more regulated so usually I have to pay a euro price.

Camera arrived! Looking forward to playing with it over the weekend.

Just came today :D:D:D

Now I just need to hatchet my MBP to upgrade my Hard Drive.

A new toy! I just scored an Acer Aspire One (160GB hdd/1GB mem) with Windows XP from CL today, and have been playing with it most of the evening. I'm actually quite surprised at how responsive it is; I don't think my full size laptop at work does this well (granted, it's an older Gateway). I don't expect it will run multiple apps well at all, but it does fine with just one app open. Even Acrobat Reader opened faster than I expected, and it is notoriously slow.
