Heading to IKEA. Not sure if I will get anything, but a new lamp and shelves could be on their way home.

Pictures to come if I do get anything.

Couldn't find shelves that would allow me to do what I want to do, so ended up with a cork bulletin board and a new garbage can for my room.

I'm considering a tablet myself; right now have a tablet computer, but the experience suspect isn't the same… I mean I like the tablet one, but if I want the same thing for my Mac, I would need the Cintiq, which is hella expensive.

So is it weird using a tablet and holding a pen over a surface? I know that sounds confuse… in other words, is it natural to draw on a tablet without a screen built-in?

You have to adapt to it, but once you get a hang of it, you can pretty much get the sames results as you would on paper. But until you can get a nice screen tablet, you'll never get as good on the tablet as you are with a pencil.

I was in my local skateshop, looking around, spending my free afternoon. And then this shirt caught my eyes:

I am not really sure why I had to buy it, but I am sure I would regret it later if I haden't.

I don't know, maybe it's the colors, the animals or just the style of it altogether.

i should probably have posted that i have a lot of photography experience, using film, i have a nikon FE2 and a bonica etrs system, i have just been saving to go to digital. there is no 70-200 1.8L, i didnt get the 50 1.2 because i wanted to spend the money on a fast wide prime i could carry with me, when i dont want either the 24-70 or the 50, i normally shoot portraits and nightclub stuff(concerts and what not) i have rented up till now and have putting money away to get the best kit i could, i dont do alot of tele. work so why get the 2.8 and most of the tele. work i do, is in an atmosphere with more than enough light. the 16-35L is a great wide lens, but it doesnt have the f/1.4 that i require when i dont want to use a flash. im not some idiot with more money than brains, i know what i shoot, i upgraded from a good point and shoot, but a point and shoot non the less. i knew exactly what i was buying and what it was going to be used for. im also not that serious bout macro work, i bought it to be used as a portrait lens as well as a macro lens. in regards to my ZEISS 50 1.4, i have had it for a while, i just included it in my picture.

so please dont assume that because my kit doesnt include lenses you woudl buy that each lens doesnt have a purpose that i will use it for. and i thought that at the moment the 5d mark 2 is probably the best all around camera i can get, for what i do/want to do. thats why i bought it,

The only thing you said is that you were upgrading from a point and shoot. You said nothing about any previous expereince. Sorry but anyone with a brain who reads that someone is upgrading from a point and shoot is going to assume exactly what I assumed and I wasnt the only one to assume it. The fact that you have expereince and chose the lenses you did, well lets just say it makes even less sense now than it did before. Buying a macro lens for portrait work? Not buying a nicer lens because you not going to shoot wide open?? I wont even bother arguing about it. Its your money not mine. You could have spent the same amount of money and come out with vastly better choice of lenses for what your shooting. Again its your money and as long as your happy thats all that matters but getting a pissy attitude because you failed to properly expain yourself is just riduclous.

I have gotten sick and tried of my Mac Pro eating hard drives.

So I decided that I am not messing around with hard drives anymore and replaced all drives with WD Enterprise (WD RE3 ) drives.

I also bought this tablet recently and to answer your question, it's a little weird at first but it starts to feel real natural. The only issue is the size of the pad. The 6"x4" isn't quite big enough, and the pen is somewhat cheap. It's definitely worth the $75 price though even if you just casually photoshop things.
