After using a hackintosh for a while, finally took the plunge today and picked up the 13.3" Aluminum MacBook at Best Buy. :D

Seeing how I owned myself with this purchase, I just ordered the new 13" MBP 2.26ghz from Apple, and will be bringing the MacBook back to Best Buy.

Yeah, but that's alright, my wife is getting it for me through the education store as she's in school right now, so I'll break even. :)

Oh good. Not perfect, but could be worse.

I'm going to pick one up later this year, right before I finish school, so that I can take advantage of the education discount as well. The UCLA Store has even better pricing than the online Apple Education Store, so I'd be a fool not to buy something. Hopefully they'll be an update to the MacBook Pros before it's time to buy.

Enjoy!

These. The world's best headphones!!!!! :):):D:D:cool:

Those are nice, I heard them at Best Buy and they are boss!

I just got a new pair of headphones, to use in a "dorm" like environment.
Phillips SBC HN110 Noise Cancelling Headphones -

Got them for 35.00, not too bad, good value for the money. They sound great, have an overall good audio response and the noise cancelling does a decent job. They fold up really small too, which is a major plus for me.

Finally got a new alarm clock. Emerson SmartSet CKS 9031.

A great little clock. My first atomic clock - it just set itself, cool show. Mine has the blue led which is better for the night but I have to strain somewhat to see from across the room. Has weekend and weekday alarm settings, which is awesome to set a specific alarm for specific days.

I also paid for my first month of rent, I'm finally out on my own somewhat!

LOL I paid $83+tax for my 3ft HDMI cable from Best Buy a year and a half ago.
OUCH! thats a daylight money rape right there.:D
bestbuy is really expensive

Actually for a 6ft ver 1.3 hdmi cable it would of been 11.95 plus it it white (black is out of stock);)
plus the monoprice ones were 24awg mine are 30awg

At least i didn't find anything cheaper....

Very nice

Already have the Griffin AutoPilot for the car so I'm looking forward to some of that Voice Control iPod action.

And boy. $50 in friggin' taxes for the iPhone, that's like 25%, wtf?

I was so tempted to get the Deathadder because I heard some negative things about the Mamba but I decided to just try it and I have no complains. Definitely the best mouse I have ever owned.

I also bought the Mamba and use it with my Mac Pro, its the best mouse Ive ever owned, I wouldnt give it up for anything! Plus it goes great with my Steelseries mousepad and the Logitech diNovo Edge Mac Edition keyboard!
