I was devastated to learn there is no Jack in the Box in North Carolina. I can't find a decent sh*ty taco to consume after a night of drinking to save my life!

Then living in NC is not the business. They should have at least some sort of taco.

I used to get non brand name wheels, which had all the quality and none of the snobbishness of boutique wheels. But now the boutique wheel maker has an affordable option. Long live Spitfire!:D

Now all we need is Ricta to come up with an affordable option. Then the world would almost be perfect. Get hollowcores for $19.95 and then the world would be perfect.

There used to be some great British skateboard brands that made cheap (compared to the US stuff) stuff in the mid 90s. But I always used to use Powell mini-logo decks. I still have an 8.5 inch setup (with Indies, I can't remember the wheels) in the loft.

There is a few of them in Charlotte. One is right across the street from my house

Even though it insulted me and called me overweight, it is still fun. I really suck at yoga...

I just bought one recently also! Kind of a impulse buy, but they finally had one in stock and figured I'd pounce on it!

And yeah, it called me overweight too. Best part, however, is that my wife is bordering on underweight!

My first piece of exotic glass. And my last piece of exotic glass for a while, too. A Nikkor 300 f2.8 AF-S II bought secondhand. The knobs look worse than they actually are, and the rest of it is clean and was serviced by Nikon last month.

Dude, are you a stalker?? LOL. That is one sweeeet setup!

Nah, it's tough to keep a low profile when you're walking around with a 2 foot long lens/hood combo, so stalking is definitely out. I will probably take this out for its first play session at this weekend's BMW CCA autox at the Marina Airport, near Monterey. This is a big lens to control, so it will take some practice time before I get a reasonable percentage of keepers.

EIGHT FIVES are a little bit vintage, but Powell mini-logo decks are solid and to bring it up to date, just get some 52 mm. hard wheels or smaller, and switch out the Indy bushings with medium Indy bushings (red) or similar Bones, Tensor, or Doh-Dohs with a slightly higher durometer hardness and you are there.

A slightly wider deck, 8.25s and and 8.5s, are the safer path to take if you take it up again. After you have your skills down pat, go for decks 7.375 to 7.875 and keep the Indys if they are 139s or 129s. For extreme tricks, stiffen the bushings even more.

I know a person who broke out a couple of working decks 22 years old.

What type of tripod and head do you have to go with it? Or do you just use a really good monopod? The answer will probably depend on where you're sitting/standing during the event, right?

Speck hazard orange see-thru for my 13" MacBook. I normally don't like cases but the color looks cool and I got it for a great price. I wish they would make see-thru cases in this color for the iMac and iPhone. I may post real pics when it gets here.

Looks cool! :)

My unibody Macbook came today. Sadly I don't think it will be a purchase very long. I drives me insane when I drop a lot of cash just to not be excited in the slightest bit.

Thanks Apple for the $1500 rectangular block of rock with sand and decomposed plants stuffed inside.
(A shiny case made from only one piece of rock, Silicon, and tons of plastic crap)
