I don't want to start and argument that doesn't belong to this thread either :). Although it is a very stimulating and controverted subject.

To answer your question, if someone were to come to my house, and threaten my family, :eek: I would rather not have a gun. I wouldn't know how to use it. The most common scenario would be a robbery. In such case, even if I had a gun and knew how to use it, I would never put my family at risk by pulling out a gun. I would rather try to give the robbers what they want and then call the police. Believe me, this would be the safest thing to do. Having a gun in this circumstance would lead to a situation in which one of the two would have to use it. Guns scare me not only because of what they are capable to do to the people who are shot, but also because of what they are capable to do to the people who are forced to use them. In the much less common case of life threatening scenarios, I still don't think that a gun would be useful. Most of the times negotiation is the key, violence only leads to more violence.

It is better to let people who are specifically trained to deal with dangerous situations, unlike most gun owners, carry guns (e.g. law enforcers). Not every one is capable of comporting himself with lucidity in situations in which they are forced to pull a gun from the holster.

Lost my iPod Touch last week and was looking for a replacement. AMOLED, physical controls, DAB radio, FM radio, unlimited customisation (UI is made using flash), A2DP, lossless FLAC support and better looking than any iPod (my opinion) at HALF the price of an iPod Touch :) ..

Lost the WiFi (battery drainer) Apps (got bored after a while) and a really good touch screen though.

My brother got this game a while back, but we never played it much because it lacks the ability to choose from an array of cars to play Arcade Mode, like all of the previous GT games allowed. It's not that fun to have to work through Single Player, being limited to the cars you own there, in order to play Arcade Mode.

actually. they are shoes that Argentinean workers would wear, Blake the creator of Tom's was there for a vacation after he lost 'The Amazing Race' and he saw that no children had shoes there.

so he started a company where if you buy a pair - they will match it and give a pair to a child in need.

it's a great organization and the shoes are very comfortable + last long

That is a LOT of pedals, Have you ever given pedalboards a thought? Something like the Boss GT-10 would give you all of that but condense it into one unit.

Hmm, we only have chocolate frap in the UK, not double choc chip. Are you allowed to ask for extra flavour as well? Because I always get a Strawberries and Cream frap and they never put enough of that strawberry 'jam like' stuff in it so it's always a bit plain and has a bit too much unblended ice in (which waters it down).

ive always had problems with the brakes on all my bikes, i just hate that they dont get the most critical thing right!

you must not know anything about playing music if you recommend the boss gt 10 over a board that had an analogman ts808 tv and ruetz rat on it. thanks for the suggestion though
