those make good file servers besides the fact it can only read 128gb

They make horrible file servers, lol. Very low storage, a little noisy, and slow. Might as well use a cheap Dell Optiplex mini-tower, at least its a Pentium 4 that is small and silent.

I have a PowerMac G3 and I was pumped when I got it a few months back until I realized I have absolutely nothing to use it for. Now people use it as a chair when my regular seating is all used up. It also makes a great step stool.

Put OSX on it and you can use more than 128GB, at least that's what I heard.

haha I don't even know, That was the picture that the seller used, im not even sure it was his picture. (i'm assuming the outlet is for a Washing machine.)

The PowerMac G3 came with 2 Hard Drives, one 20 gig and another 80Gb. Im currently installing OSX 10.4 on the 80gig then removing the 20 gig since the 20gig is super noisy while the 80gig is very silent.

Old drives do sound a little like snare drums inside a computer. However I bet the old drive would outlast any large 1TB+ hard drive on the market today. Drives just aren't as reliable as they once were. My first desktop was a Packard Bell from 1996 and the 800MB hard drive still works to this day after 13 years yet I get these Western Digital 750GB drives that fail after 3 months.

Dell Mini

And likely a 16GB SD Card.

Those run great don't they? Installing Leopard on them is a piece of cake, and no moving parts is an automatic +. Screen real estate leaves a bit to be desired, along with storage space but for a portable system they work fantastically.

I take back 5% of all the bad stuff I said about netbooks. Most still completely suck, but the Dell Mini's are kinda nice.

Still the best iPhone when it comes to style! I just hate the plastic covers of the new models.

I have been a netbook owner for about 3 weeks now...and I absolutely adore my Acer Aspire One D250. A Dell mini was my first choice, but meh. This thing is pretty cool.

Hate to admit it, but I am using it more than my '06 Macbook.
Also hate to admit it, but I am looking forward to Windows 7 more than Snow Leopard. ;)
