Nice. Just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 255w.
Was on sale at London Drugs, and got the one and only one they had. Score!

I bought this one about a month ago, and I LOVE it, probably one of the best car related purchases I've made in a really long time!

I live in the South Bay area (when im not in school) and I havent been to the studio to see him.. but... god would I love to see him. I also followed him since about ... 5-6 years ago.. and ugh... I remember his final episode on late night, touching really.

Umm, my TomTom 930 shows lane depiction...is your TomTom old?

I don't actually have a TomTom but the ones I have seen were definitely old and did not have lane depiction like the 930. I have BMW's aged professional navigation system integrated in my M3 which is not very good at all when compared to modern systems.

Crankshaft position sensor for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. When bad it causes your car to just die. Pain in the butt to install, its on the drivers side of the bellhousing. Takes 2ft of extensions, then a universal joint attachment to get it off. Getting it on was no fun either.

Car runs now though!

Was it stalling out and then refusing to start when warm? Thats my symptoms and from everything I have read its the CPS. It would just die, as if you turned the ignition off, no sputtering.

Started up fine thought after I put it in, so at least I did it right!

Mines just stock, no mods. I was going to put on an OME lift (2" of so), but then gas went crazy and I decided I didn't want to spend money to get less MPG.

Mine wasn't getting spark, and it ended up not being the CPS, but a dead short in the fuel pump wiring. It took me 6 months of troubleshooting just to find an open ended piece of wiring that was bypassed by the previous owner.

I can understand not wanting to spend money on a lift. I got rid of that Cherokee and bought a Grand Cherokee and lifted it 2" and put it on 30" tires(hardly bigger than stock). It gets better gas mileage(even with the 5.2 v8) and is much more pleasant to drive.

I do miss the Cherokee sometimes, may get another some day.

I had a 1993 Grand Cherokee. Tranny finally went out at 282,000 miles. Great car!

Just to keep the thread on track, I got this from the marketplace here for my GF. It will be her first mac, a 2.0 CD Macbook Pro.
