Well, it's a long story...

::just some background info: I'm 14::

I was a proud owner of an iPod touch at the time that I needed a new phone, and had narrowed my search down to 2. Either the Cookie, or a Nokia 7100 Supanova.

LG Cookie: AUD$229, locked to optus.
Nokia 7100 Supanova: AUD$149, unlocked.

Here's where my iPod comes in. My iPod touch has such a great touchscreen, and such vibrant colours and all, that I decided to buy to touchscreen Cookie.

That was the day I learned about different types of touch screens; capacitive (iPod), and resistive (cookie).

I tried to like the LG, I mean, it would be my phone for the next 1-2 years, but it is terrible!

I vowed never to buy non-apple touchscreen products that day. Well, not until I have money to burn, and am able to buy a replacement. I plan that in about 3 or 4 years :D.

Anyway, again, good luck with yours.

PS, if anybody wants to buy my cookie...;)

Oh dude i understand now. I haven't moved to an iPhone or iPod Touch yet although i know that their touch screen is way better than the cookies. But i have to admin i didn't know the different touch screen types you mentioned. I bought the cookie because i had a terrible sharp phone and i wanted something a little bit close to the iphone with a small price because,as everyone else(i think), i want an iphone too but yet i think it sucks.:p

What a marvelous contraption!! I've been having the same problem you are (were) having and this looks like a good fix. If you don't mind me asking, how has your experience been with it? Do you like it?

yah it's a nice product, it was only $16.99 on newegg so the price wasn't bad either.

I think you should opt for the anti-glare. It is simply amazing as far as not leaving any trace of fingerprint goes it feels great to the touch as it provides a little traction. Your screen will have a matte finish though and the colors will not be as brilliant as the crystal film if you mind at all.

I had the anti-glare and I liked the feel but the way it distorted the image really bothered me. Right now I have no protector on there but I think I am going to go back to the clear ones.

I was worrying that the remote was going to delay my order too, but apple shipped my iMac separately, so you should be fine to place an order/edit your order for one :)
