Picked up a 27" iMac as a multimedia machine. The screen is gorgeous, dwarfs the 24" LED Cinema. I may just use it as my main monitor on my Mac Pro. I will post some pictures tomorrow next to the 24".

This is actually for my mom. My brother, two sisters and I all chipped in to buy it for her, well my sisters contributed the majority since me and my brother are still in poor college students :p. It's is the base 21.5" model and it should get the job done for years to come. She is replacing an old DELL laptop and really does not need the portability since she uses it all the time in her and my dad's study/office. My mom has a faster Mac than me :eek:.

You've got a lucky mum. Both for getting such a great computer and also for having such awesome kids :).
