Waiting to see what Friday brings, but most likely pulling the trigger on this. I say most likely since my CD MBP is still functional for most things I throw at it, but multitasking is getting harder and harder with the 2GB RAM limit. Not sure if I can put up with the frustration much longer. If I don't buy Friday, most likely going to wait well into the new year.

It just came out on November 10th! Can you recommend another Stephen King book to read after this one? Which would you consider an absolute "must read"? Thanks

IT. Hands down. One of the best fiction I've ever read. You should also read The Witching Hour by Anne Rice. 75 thumbs up on that one, too.

Some Christmas shopping. I imposed a $20 limit because that is about what my friend can spend. However, I make rules so I can personally break them and I feel bad about this dude's coat. It's terribly torn.

And I am about to pull the trigger on this. Thinking I may stop on the way to London next spring. This I haven't bought yet but nearly there ...

I would consider The Stand one of his best. Another 1200-pager, but very very good! The last one I read was Duma Key. It was pretty good. Bag of Bones is good too. Dean Koontz writes some pretty decent page-turners as well, but King is King!

I was pissed when I went to Walmart last night. Dark Knight was out. I ended up getting Wanted though. Love it.

Walmart is stupid because their prices are different online from the store. I asked the lady at the customer service desk if they price match their online prices and she said NO. I had to order these movies online rather then buy them from the store even tho they had them in stock.. There was a $6-$8 difference on each one of these blu-rays from the store price and the online price. At least shipping was free.

That sucks!!
I wish the sleepy little University town I live in would get a Target, Best Buy, and an Ikea.

Just ordered the Western Digital Elements 1.5TB external from Amazon for $99. Should go great with my WDTV Live. :D

Why does it say $99 when you search for it, and then $130 on its page?

EDIT: now they changed both to $130
