I'm a longtime bb user, and this is seriously the best phone I've ever owned. Congrats!

What the new 9700 Bold?

I bought one on release day and as usual I like my iphone MUCH more .... I've owned all the BB's back to the original 957 through the Curves, Javelins, Bold etc .

BB a great email machine I guess, but I'm faster typing on my iphone now and it's better at most everything else ... imo, of course.

You'll have to let me know how that goes. We have two dogs and the hair is out of control. We do, however, have hardwood floors, so I'm considering a canister vacuum instead.

I haven't tested it out extensively but I can tell you it's pretty powerful, the majority of my house is actually hardwood. Your really paying for the "Airmuscle" head that in laments terms moves the vacuum head up and down to keep constant contact with the surface.

I tested it on my hardwood floor on the "Bare Floor" setting, it worked fine without scratching the floor because the when it's set to "Bare Floor" the stiff bristles do not rotate. Either way I do my cleaning on Monday so I'll know more by then.

-EDIT-
By the way I picked up Dragon Age:Origins Collector's Edition for PC.

Rented it off the PS network in HD. It was a good movie; much better than The Da Vinci Code. :)

Christmas comes early as I decided to upgrade the MBP, iPod, Mouse, and Printer all in one swoop.

Launch 17" 2.16GHz CD MBP — a 17" 2.8GHz C2D uMBP
60GB 5th Gen. iPod Video — 64GB iPod Touch
Mighty Mouse (with finicky ball and rattling parts) — Magic Mouse
Aging HP PSC All-in-One (print quality degrading) — HP Photosmart C4780 All-in-One

Just finished paying off my credit card a couple months ago and didn't know what to do without a payment. :p

I'm set for the next 4+ years.

Adding some things I have needed for a while but have been putting off buying.

For backup —
17-507-005-S01

For photo prints —
28-102-251-S01

Yes, I know they aren't for the HP. I have a large format printer dedicated to photos.

While I'm at it, I upgraded to 1Password 3 last weekend.

Got me some studying music.

Started Black Friday early with the only money I could spare, 5 bucks. I set out determined to buy something, so I did something I don't usually do- support the music industry. Great deal for 5 bucks!

An iMac i7, and iMac i5, and a MacBook.

The new iMac is sweet.

Yowza. Could've bought me a used car or some nice bike parts. Come on, help a poor student out. :p

Enjoy!

Anyways, my last purchases were a bunch of Christmas gifts for friends:

Lomo Action Sampler for a friend
Nikkor 35 mm f/1.8 for another friend (got a good deal)
A couple Moleskines & notebooks for a friend who likes to keep track of her thoughts & secrets :)
Knog Frogs, Tektro Hoods & Easton bartape for a friend's bike
MKS GR-9s & Soma Oppy Fourgates w/ Double Straps for my roommate's bike
C-3PO USB key by Mimimoto for a Star Wars fan (this thing cost a fortune for some reason)
Godiva chocolate for my professor in my lab
More chocolate for the technicians in my clinic
The FML book for a friend who swears by the site (even now that its popularity has waned)
Logitech NX80 (IIRC) notebook mouse for a friend who just got a new netbook but is using a wired mouse
Klean Kanteen Wine Karafe for a friend who has wanted it for ages
Random inside joke gifts
Coach purse for mom
Personalized stationery for everyone.

... all in all, Christmas is expensive.

Movies:
Push
Jumper
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Blu-Ray)
The International (Blu-Ray)
Wanted (Blu-Ray)
Hancock (Blu-Ray)

And, Left 4 Dead 2
+ $25 gift card to Best Buy since it's my friend's birthday.

Surprisingly, the Blu-Rays were all cheaper than Push and Jumper (19.99 and 14.99 respectively). The Blu-Rays were $12.99 and one of them was $7.99 I think.

At Best Buy, I spent $150 for everything, including the gift card..... :/ I'm broke now.

And, Stephen King's new novel: Under The Dome for $25

Liquor store had Belvedere 1.75L vodka for only $40!
Belvedere-Vodka-1-75L_79EEA8D5.jpg

when it comes to drinking, i love to live in Slovenia.
Jack Daniels 1l - 20€ (~30$)
One beer bottle (.5l) - 1.5€ (~2,2$)

but apple stuf (MBP and iMac or Mac Pro) is 500$ expensive than in USA (because of low $ level and high € level)
