Wow, thats nice. Had a couple friends go that route. Spent nearly $20,000.
My GF likes that place, but luckily I have kept her to just the silver, no diamonds.
Paying a lot of for the name, but they do have good service.
Left 4 Dead 2 for PC. I was holding out on it, but it was on sale for $30 today, so I said "why the eff not?"
I had previously looked for this game a few months back, but couldn't find it. I went to pick up Mass Effect today, found this for 10 bucks cheaper, so I grabbed it instead.
Had waited a little while for a tripod, but it's been too long. I grabbed this on sale for $29.99. For the price, it's more then you can ask for. It'll get the job done.
Danbo (or Danboard, whichever you like more). The original, larger version was too hard to find in stock so I ordered 2 weeks ago. It was only suppose to arrive on the 31st of December, so this was a nice surprise. I've never been much of a collector, but there's been some toys I've always liked, so I usually grab them.
Since I'm not asking for much this christmas (my mum actually bought the only christmas gift I asked for with me today (a nice dressy jacket)), I treated myself a little bit. Either then gifts for others, this'll be the most money I waste all month.

Nerdy reviewers had so many complaints about the Symbian OS on that thing, and yet I really did like my Nokia 5800 when I had it. Too bad it screwed up just after the warranty was finished. It was so much much much more flexible than my new iPhone, and required me to dig through fewer menus. Also, the landscape-mode typing was superior. Resistive touch-screens may be far less sensitive than capacitive touchscreen phones (e.g. the iPhone), but are also far more accurate.
Anyway, I was looking for a pair of shoes I could wear without socks, and today, when I was just trying to kill time, I found these.

I've been having trouble getting good sleep the last couple weeks with being sick and having finals coming up.
I used the Mac app a long time ago and it helped, so I sprung for the mobile version. A steal at the $2.99 as it is going to $9.99 in a week.

I was lucky with my wife. Well, to a certain degree lucky. I spent about $2500 on her ring (pretty good for a Junior in college!) but the bulk was actually not spent on the stone as she didn't want a diamond -- at all! She wanted a Moissanite as there is no chance of it having been a blood diamond or any other type of torturous detail. I was not really aware of all of the history, so I didn't know, but she was very adamant about not wanting a diamond!
So, her band is actually a really cool design. It's called Mokume Gane and I ordered mine from a craftsman up in Maine, Andrew Nyce (http://www.andrewnycedesigns.com/). Her's is made from 14K Palladium White Gold and Platinum-enhanced Sterling Silver with a liner on the inside of Palladium.
It's very unique and custom made, and good thing she liked it 2 years ago and still does today!

her ring kicks ass, really. I may have to browse ... not for a wedding ring, that's stupid, but for a regular ring. Maybe a little gift to myself.
