Windows 7 Professional, only £30 for students! Need Windows for CAD and have been using the RC up until now.

Also, train tickets from thetrainline.

Want to buy some speakers and a 24" monitor soon. Any recommendations? I'd get Swan M10s but they're not available here.

£30 for 7 pro!? Im a student where can I purchase this!? I have only seen upgrade versions, I need the full thing for my iMac.

You have to pay for Windows 7? You poor guy!:p
My uni gives away Windows 7 Enterprise for free, bevause we have an MSDNAA license. I need it for Visual Studio only though, in the studio we fortunately use OSX and Final Cut.

Quit buying things I want. LOL

Hahah. I need to stop buying stuff, period. :p

I'm almost done my Christmas shopping. I have to get some kids toys and some stuff for me mum still, but that's it! I couldn't even post the goodies I got my bruv since he'd see it.

^^ what make of car dock is that?

I mentioned that I had ordered a Triumph Street Triple in the last "Purchase" thread but it only just got delivered to the garage.
Here it is on it's nice little stand and hopefully there is a sign on it saying, "Keep your grubby hands off!" now that I've confirmed that I'm taking it home with me this Saturday.

Can't wait!

Also bought some Spada Motorcycle boots.

That Bill Smiths?

Going to drive for 30mins later for a monitor replacement. 10 bucks more
and I could have gotten this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Acer+-+23%22+Widescreen+Flat-Panel+LCD+Monitor+-+Black/9183224.p?id=1218049006792&skuId=9183224

Instead of getting this:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11016959

The 22" is fine, great display for what I paid. But the added ports on the
back of the full HD one.. makes for a better selling point. Plus comes
with all the cables, hdmi, dvi, vga. I'll be putting the 360 in the bedroom/office later!
Right now I game on a 720p, and I want to see what all the hidef fuss is about for 1080p. =p

We have a blu-ray player hooked up to the 720p right now, and it is the living room movie machine...
so don't really want to move it. Going to be upgrading the LR TV later this year to a 42inch 1080p or
larger so the only thing moving is the 360. =p I'll let you guys know how the buying experience goes
and post some pics later.

So far though Acer really wowed me with the 1680x1050 22" that I am on now. It's great.

Beck, I'd go with this 24" Samsung 1080p at Dell for $189. Comes with wireless keyboard & mouse you could keep or sell, too. To get the $189 price, use coupon code LCR4MW$0BGM3MG. Free shipping.

Thanks!
I may not be able to get my running shoes this week, but I will get that sweet monitor ordered this
afternoon. I'm freaking excited, considering I am using a wired keyboard and mouse that I can take
back to Wally World too. =) Thanks again. Saved me a 30min drive too.

Cool! I'm glad you were able to see it before you left. I love Samsung displays and TVs. I had been looking at it right before I saw your post trying to convince myself that I could use an external display, but after those three $99 TripleFi earbuds, I'm out of funds!!
