Did you sell a Mac Pro to buy build a Hackintosh?

Yes I did, but not because I simply wanted to. I had to for the money.
Hopefully when the next update for the mac pro comes out I'll be able to afford it.
(Corei9 or corei7 980X or whatever they end up calling it) should be a beast.

But this i5 build should be enough for me for the time being.
Only had about a $350 budget after purchasing a ps3

- What about the case and the graphics card(s)? No water-cooling?
- Also, how much did all these run you?
- Having Windows 7 installed, can that be a decent gaming machine?

Indeed. I own one other pair of Danners that I absolutely love. And yes, those Ft Lewis's are quite pricey. Don't know if I'll keep them, but with free return shipping, they're worth a try. I'm interested to see how they feel. Danners can be clunky, particularly for a girl. Thank god Nike makes a combat boot. Light as a feather.
