Just picked this up and works great in my Mini. The Scorpio
7200 was faster.. but didn't get along with APM, and I didn't want
to run HDAPM every time I logon. Great drive. Next time I
will opt for a SSD.

Also got a Mini, some new Adio shoes for me, 85$ heels for the wife,
an Apple Wireless Keyboard and a My Passport external 500gig drive for
storage and time machine.

On the flip-side, you need to live in Hamilton, while he gets to live in NYC. :p

And rarely have I ever heard of prices being cheaper in Canada than the US. It has happened with Apple products on a number of occasions, but never with clothes from America.

I think AE is definitely an exception. I used to work at AE so I virtually had prices memorized on most items, and anytime I'd hit up a US mall, the price would be jacked up. It was the one store that was like that.

PS3 Dualschock Controller with Uncharted for only $49 at Futureshop. Great deal considering the controller is almost $60 by itself.

Just bought 2 sets of HID's for my truck:

Good luck with those, drop in HID's are very hit and miss when it comes to the resulting beam pattern as the light source almost never lines up with the original incandescent position.

I got one of these monitors a couple of years ago when it first came out. Really nice quality screen for the price. One word of warning though; avoid the audio in/out ports on it. The quality is *definitely* reduced over just doing straight audio and bypassing it. I don't know what the monitor does, but the audio just isn't the same.

Rubbish, I've done half a dozen of these kits without a problem. The main problem is not using projector headlights.

Right. I hope he has projectors in his truck. Otherwise, they're bloody uselelss, and will blind other drivers

Thanks for your concern, but I have researched the piss out of this. It will be just fine.

Wow. Thank you. That kinda crushes part of my soul though; I was planning on running an HDMI from my xbox 360 straight into it, then siphoning ff the audio through the line out port to my 2.1 speaker system. :( Guess I'll jut use a splitter dongle.

DDM has excellent units. I personally used retro-solutions because they have a lifetime warranty and great support but DDM would be my first choice otherwise.

I should have stated i'm running standard reflectors, mine are fine as long as they are properly aimed and I have only ever bought cheap ebay kits! There wonderful and highly recommended.

That's what I've heard, and DDM also offers a lifetime warranty. This, along with the fact that I know several people with the same truck as me that have used this same kit and loved it, helped me overlook the crazy cheap price tag and order these.

I'm sure I'll be reporting back in a week or two with my opinions of them, if anyone cares ;).

Anyone have any input on the Logitech X540 speaker system? I am looking at buying them and wanted additional input. Best Buy has them for $79.99 when they are usually $109.99

Mine has so many drop outs with using HDMI audio. It sucks. And no volume control, so that is useless with studio monitors.
