I have been wanting a nice scarf for a couple years now. I always wanted a burberry check but $40 is a lot better than $300. Maybe one day :D

Comes out tomorrow, it said "February 2010" for release date so i pre-ordered it. Need to manage my expenses better.

From what I've read it's quite a reduction in features from Quicken 2007 for Mac, has been announced, delayed, re-announced and delayed again. The vague February 2010 has been on the website for quite a while but with the start of February hours away nothing more precise has become available. Also, apparently Intuit is charging credit cards as soon as the order is placed (which some people did weeks/months ago) rather than when it ships. I'm waiting to see how all this turns out before I go spending my money.

So you wanted a Macbook Pro for years? The 13" in my book is still a regular Mac Book. No video card, poor thing...

I agree with this 100%. No dedicated graphics card = NON-Pro. That has ALWAYS been the distinction in the Pro and non-Pro line... 13" MBP users are fooling themselves if they think they have a truly "Pro" machine. I had a 2.4Ghz uMB when they dubbed in the 13" MBP, and laughed that my system was still superior (well-- it still had that stupid inferior screen...)

MMMMMM Pocky.... Gotta get the milk ones or the strawberry ones.

LOVE both the Milk and Strawberry ones. Mmmm. I haven't had Pocky since I was in highschool. :(

Wacom Bamboo Medium - Touch and Pen

How is thw Wacom Bamboo? I want to get one to fool around with because they are cheaper, buy my friend tells me it is unwise to get the Bamboo and that I should just go for the regular... Anyone have any comments on this logic? Not sure how much I would use it... thinking if I could get one cheap and try it, it wouldn't be too much of a loss if I hated it.

Hey, thats a really nice jacket, can I ask where you purchased it from?

Cheers

Kris

Thanks Kris. Yah that's what I thought. I usually go for just blacks and whites
in my wardrobe. I was feeling that the other colors were being neglected and
that that brown was a pretty neat brown color.
Here's the link to the store. They have some pretty cool, and cheap stuff!

Same here!

The day it comes out, I'm going to get it. I'll even spring for blu-ray!

EDIT: Don't mind my grammatical mistake. Avatar makes me giddy.

Hoping they release a Bluray/DVD/Digital combo pack like a lot of movie have been lately. I will be all over that. :)

Not counting restaurant meals or non-physical purchases (music via iTunes,) my last physical object purchase was:

web.jpg

Yes, an original Macintosh.

Decoding the serial numbers, this was manufactured in the last week of 1983. It came with keyboard, numeric keypad, mouse (with original 'square' plug and large knobs,) external floppy drive (also with original 'square' plug and large knobs,) plus two power cables and a serial cable. Included were a box of 400K disks with various software, mostly games; but including voice synthesis software.

The main system works perfectly. The keyboard has a couple problems, left-shift is dead, as is 'c'. The mouse has a flaky left/right wheel, and the external floppy drive is all locked up. But the systems runs MacWrite 1.0 just fine. :p

I bought it from the original owner, who used it from 1984 to 1989, and it sat in its canvas case for 20 years, nearly completely unused. (He said he would take it out every so often to power it on.)

DVD? Pshhhh. That movie deserves to be watched on Blu-ray. :D

Sadly I do not own a Bluray player. And since I only have a 32" 720p Vizio that's about 3 years old, I don't really have the urge to get a BR player when I can't see the increase in quality. :/ Only thing that makes me want a PS3 over my 360... otherwise, I like my 360 more. ^_^

All in all, I cannot WAIT until it comes out. I have a 40" TV and a blu-ray player. I'm a college student so I hope the day it comes out I don't have a test to study for or a paper to write. Even if I do, I'm still buying it and dedicating my evening to it haha.

EDIT: Scratch that. Looks like it comes out in May. SWEET graduation gift to myself!
