Gorgeous guitar. How much was that? I'm currently in the market for a new acoustic myself, am looking for an electro-acoustic in the range of £300-£450. Can't wait to replace my ageing F-310!

Bought in Norway, it's quite expensive here. (list price is 15900kr ≈ £1700 (including taxes), but i paid 11k (1150ish) for it.)
The list price in UK is £1175, without mic. You can probably get it around 1000 with a decent mic, i guess, in UK.

It's a very nice guitar, liked it much better than the D1 and DM. I tried a few of the more expensive models as well, but the difference between those and the D16GT was much less than the D16GT and the cheaper models.

Remember to try a few guitars of the same models, because there are differences between guitars, even tho they are supposed to sound the same!

Big day :D

Hah... I bought that book a while ago. I completely had the wrong impression of what it was about, but it was good, nonetheless!

Ha, yeah I read the 3rd book first (Outliers) and really liked it. I'll get Blink after TP and complete the set. Pretty interesting stuff.

I'm way out of touch, but not had the money or the time. May need to look at iPod dock thingies.

One night for the girlfriend and I at a 旅館 (ryokan), which included an onsen (温泉). I've included photos, but they're not mine. The lens of my camera kept fogging up due to the steam.

It included dinner and breakfast served in our bedroom. Best Japanese food I have ever eaten. :) We bathed in natural spring water (hot), ate, bathed some more, and then ate more in the morning!

It was a lot of fun, and I walked out thinking I have never been as clean in my life. I always say that after going to an onsen, but considering the very high price of this place, I'd like to think it's the cleanest I have ever been. ;)

Installing aperture now and setting up the weights. Just getting them up to the 2nd floor in the condo was a work out! We have an exercise room, but sometimes its full and there is no rhyme or reason to when it is. Figure I could do some working out at home. Plus my tax return is burning a hole in my pocket.

Whoever ends up keeping them will love them :) I <3 mine.

Well my Shure E500s (AKA SE530s) recently died, so I sent it in for a repair; when I get it back, they'll be in new packaging (because that's the way Shure does it)… so I might actually gift that one away instead; I hear the Triple.Fi 10 earphones are bit better in the high frequencies unlike the Shure SE530 with it's stronger bass. And the cable can be replaced with the one with a mic.

Got a great 18v variable-speed cordless drill and cordless circular saw set at Lowe's. Damn good deal. The drill by itself was $99 and both together were only $109, plus my 10% off coupon made it about $98. Came with a nice bag, too.

Picked up a bunch of other junk, too, and paint since the coupon expires today.
