Hahah,

Yeah, I can type without looking as well, but wanted to get a silicon protector for my new keyboard to to improve the feel a little bit. It was either this or the photoshop shortcut one which I like a lot as well. This thing is super thin and feels great to type on. Unhappy about the HUGE logo and the cut on the side, but oh well - it was gifted to me! I am happy about it

finally upgraded the drive

Picked up a Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB drive today and a cheap enclosure for the Apple drive that came out of my MB.

Very happy with the noticeably snappier performance. I wish I did this a while ago!

(photo from the net, same drive though.)

I purchased one a year ago but it was terribly loud and clicking! How is yours? I really want to get one again.

With winter coming to an end my wife starting asking about borrowing my Yukon to haul flowers, mulch, etc. In my mind dirt and leather don't get along so I found this hitch platform, she just loads it up and ties it down and my car stays clean. Now I just have to find a place to store it when not it use.

Honestly, no issues so far. I'm less than 24 hours in on it but, other than the snappier performance I can't tell much difference. There is the very lightest (I mean almost unnoticeable) amount of vibration. Heat seems about the same. No difference at all in noise. Not loud and not clicking.

I have absolutely no regrets about making the switch.

How about the really big garage in front of your car? ;)

Doesn't look like it'll take up much space if you stand it up. Size of a small bike maybe.

True, however the garage has my wife's car, a bunch of tools, a second refrigerator, a ping pong table (collapsable), a collection of retired larger electronics, two trashcans and a bunch of firewood.

The solution is simple then. Build a robot from the electronics that uses the tools to cut the firewood and use it as fuel. Also build a second robot to retrieve a beer from the fridge and be your ping pong opponent. All the trash goes in the trashcans and gets put to the curb.
