can't decide for my next purchase

Sony PRS-300

or Amazon Kindle 2

The sony is good but its hard to fault the Kindle I love mine. I guess the answer is will you need to be able to purchase books at any time, any place. If not the Sony is a possibility. For me even though I never use Whisper sync I still love the Kindle.

It's so much easier to read on than my iPad.

Let me know what you end up getting

I still can't decide. It seems that I change my mind every 2 hours. I really want to use it for scripts and pdf ebooks that I'll convert to the reader's native format. Don't know if I want or need the internet that the kindle has. ARRGGGG:D

Here's a new unibody Macbook with 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig drive, a new Magic Mouse, and a new desktop that I stole from the wife when she inherited my Sony Vaio notebook. Pretty much all bought within the last few weeks.

I have the Sony PRS300, it's great! I think it's cheaper than the Kindle and it could also download ebooks from most libraries, so if you don't feel like paying for a lot of ebooks, it's a cheap option. It's just as easy to read as the Kindle, but it does lack the keyboard. But, whatever you choose, they're both great e-readers.

thank you :)
edit: too bad, they don't ship to italy :(

You can get the exact same model from Amazon UK, but I really can't recommend that stand.
I had it for some time until I threw it away.
There is no pivot function, which means that you can't adjust the display correctly. That plus the fact that the stand tends so sag slightly to the sides, makes it almost impossible to align the display exactly.
Another major disadvantage is the way the display is tightened to the arm. There is absolutely no way to fix it without the help of tongs.

This stand makes it quite obvious that you get what you've paid for.
Do yourself a favour and buy an Ergotron stand. Even the NeoFlex are soooo much better than this no-name product.
