My summer vacation is turning into an expensive one, but also one that I will have a hard time forgetting.

July 4th vacation for 2:

– Round-trip from Chicago to Seattle

– Round-trip from Seattle to Bellingham

– 3 nights here

Just put in a reservation for a car rental. $32.50 + tax/day but since I'm under 25, they tack on an extra $27/day. At least it is only for 1 day.

This is for the Road to Wrigley game. Double A Peoria Chiefs (Cubs) vs. Kane County Cougars (A's). Those tickets were $17 + fees/taxes so the total came to about $40.

A couple years ago I found tickets for the Cubs/Sox game at Wrigley, Upper Deck Outfield Reserved (Section 500+) and they still cost me about $50 a piece.

Tickets aren't cheap. That's why I love the Road to Wrigley games. You get AWESOME seats for a fraction of the price, you just don't get the MLB team.


I also just bought 2 tickets for the Dugout Box seats for the same game and the total came to just under $60 instead of $250+ each that they would be for a Cubs game.

I have been trying to price out a trip to Vancouver in September. Originally I was going to go to Seattle but decided Vancouver instead. It is either that or New Zealand to visit my college roommate who lives there now. It all depends on if I can get enough time off work.

Went an got some Nike Free 7.0 V2....Been eyeing the for a while and with a 10 dollar off and 40 dollar gift card Ive had for about a year and a half I got them for around 35 bucks. Killer Shoes.
