It is a great step up from my D40I have a Sigma 50mm 1.4 already
Ah nice, I have the Nikon 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8 along with a few others but I have the most fun with those 2.
Agreed, I use my prime lens the most.

Why is tax 25% ? is it based off of the full retail price of 599?

Tesco piggy back off of 02's network, pleased that the carrier name is 02 rather than Tesco to be honest.

How could you not know this? It's really been this way long before Arnold. My first subsidized cell phone when I was 16 was likely taxed at full value. I know any phone I had from the Moto StarTac until my 1st iPhone was taxed in CA at full value. It certainly does suck but what a nice surprise when I bought my last phone and didn't pay as much.
But the D90 should make up for it, such a nice camera.
I've always been a huge Canon fan, but I've been looking hard at the D90 as my first DSLR. The one thing I'm worried about is getting it and having Nikon introduce the D90 replacement shortly after. It's due sometime this year I would imagine.

Exactly, I too thought about it but since the D90 has a great resale value, I just bought it.
