Ordered a Magic Trackpad, Apple Battery Charger, and a bookarc for my Macbook last week. So far only the Trackpad has arrived but the other two items are in the same city as me and getting delivered on Monday.

Then today I decided to go to the Apple store to see if they had any iPhone 4's before I ordered one online and waited 3 weeks. I was surprised that they had both the 16 and 32 in stock so I got a 16 because the 32 was to much without an upgrade. The screen and camera alone are worth the upgrade!

Even as a Deviant Creative Staff Designer? Or do you just do text related inputs? I myself am in Adobe sooooo much that my old Dell Mini 10 got rarely used. To each his own I guess!

I don't do any design work on the MBP. It's too slow! My PC is lightning fast and handles graphics work with aplomb. I'm not going to drop a few grand on an equivalent Mac just to run Mac OS X. I don't find Macs to be "better for design" in any real particular way unless you absolutely MUST use Final Cut Pro or Logic or something like that. For the Adobe suite, the experience is identical between PCs and Macs.

The biggest difference is that my PC has all its apps installed on a G-Skill Falcon 128GB SSD. Most apps including the CS5 apps launch in a couple seconds. My MBP will struggle to open Firefox even, on occasion. Maybe I've just got a dud, but even if it was fast, I would still barely use it.

I'm on deviant as an artist, been there for 4 years. Love it. I totally agree with you though. I REALLY wish Mac Pros were more affordable for me. Well, I only opened my studio like 3 weeks ago, maybe someday soon I will get one.

Did you order the phone online or get it at an Apple store? I went to an Apple store today and was surprised that they had both the 16 and 32 in stock, I was happy that I got one and didn't order it online and wait 3 weeks like I was planning on doing. :D I ordered the bumper today too, it says ships September 7th and delivers September 10th. :( Can't complain though cause it's free.

I'm quite ashamed to say it, but Wal-Mart! Rang many places up and the last place on the list happened to be Walmart with five 16GB in stock.
I received similar dates when ordering the bumper.
Expansion tank bust?

Art vs. Science - EP

Just bought this of iTunes. Can't really describe the music style though... Maybe it could be classed as electronic rock. I suggest you google fit for a better idea :D

have you heard of a company in cerritos named "ussrd"?

oil change wasn't really a purchase since i get 2 complimentary oil changes for owning a scion. i just wanted to post a random oil change picture. :)

Never heard of USSRD. I googled it and was very surprised the company is located about 1/4 mile from me. Are you an employee or owner?
