I'm in the freaking meca of Tim Hortonsville and I don't get it either. In the three cities that surround us there's 20 to 30 Tim Hortons ... every few city blocks you see them in some area's.
Sure it's good 'everyday' coffee I guess. But to spend a few hundred dollars a month, going out for coffee to Tim's everyday, for some people 3 or more times a day, it's ridiculous.
We know people who don't have a lot of extra money, yet they make a "Timmie Run" morning, noon and night everyday. Two large double double everyday, three times a day, do the math ... pretty wild.
Meanwhile, you can buy premium coffee, a great coffee maker with a timer, or even a Tim Hortons coffee maker and brew a pot or thermos yourself ....
.... but nope they need to pay 10 to 15 times more and go through the 'event' of going to Timmie's .... at some Time Hortons here every morning the drive thru line up's are so long it can stretch out of the parking lot up the road blocking a lane of traffic.
Maybe one day there will be rehab clinics to break people's addiction to Tim Hortons coffee/caffeine/drive thru's.
Ask any Canadian if they're not Tim Hortons fans themselves they'll know someone who's damn serious about their Tim Hortons coffee.
