rk mac, you are totally wrong. I once have the 2.93Ghz 15" macbook pro. And yes. it can handle the 8gb ram with no problem.

Bought some Sennheiser HD 238's to listen to music while I'm studying. Best sounding headphones I've ever had, not much of an audiophile though, so I really wouldn't know a great pair or not.
160GB iPod classic in black. Third one. My friend took one of mine, so I need a replacement. I have too much music to fit on one.
Ergotron MX. Just mounted a 30" monitor onto it; at first I didn't think it would work, but it did. Afterwards I ordered a second one for my second monitor. Should be here tomorrow.

I was debating between this and the 70-200 L f/4, but after a lot of consideration, the extra 100mm is what I needed and IQ wasn't that bad in tests. However, I am even happier that I got this lens because of the IS. I just took a few test shots indoors and without IS I would have some terrible photos
I will be taking it to NYC for the USO and will test it out there and let you know. The only thing is, the IS makes quite a bit of noise (I was afraid of what that was at first). Either way, I am happy I have a lens with good reach for this weekend

Just ordered the Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II VC LD IF Lens in Nikon Mount to use on the D70s and D300s, and a Hoya 72mm UV filter for it, cant wait for it to arrive, in time for my trip to the jurassic coast in Devon at the end of the month.
