Got a nice router for my dorm room(our college wi-fi is terrible) And an external HDD for back ups. Their dirty cheap. 63 bucks for 500GBs...I almost went 1TB for about 90, but it seems unneeded currently(at least for me)

Because the Smart Car hasn't really taken root in the States doesn't mean that American's don't like modern cars. See how well your "modern car" will do after it gets in an accident on the freeway. It is just not well made for the American infrastructure. Even in NYC I wouldn't buy a Smart Car because I would just ride the public transportation.

Oh, I am fully AGAINST "smart" cars. Give me a Lotus Elise instead...or the very sexy Mercedes SLS....Something that gulps gas on the track ;-)
