T-Mobile myTouch 4G to act as access point for my iPad and MBP when I'm on the road. Testing continues but so far it's a great replacement for the USB stick and router!

Cheers,

"Mobby Dick" dry suit and camera accessories

I just picked up a bespoke Mobby Dick dry suit. The store forgot to place an order for my head hood, which will be delivered to me in later next week. Thicker gloves and fins also accompany my dry suit as I want to be comfy in the water in winter.

I also purchased a Sea & Sea 2G camera again as I lost it in the water while diving  This will replace what I have lost. I settled on the same model as it is a well balanced digital camera which I can use in the water and on the ground. The 2G camera and housing will be delivered to me next week. :p For today, I picked up a flash unit.

The saga continues -

Selling my Ultimate Macbook Air 13.3" for the Ultimate of the 11.6" flavor. Decided that the ultimate 13.3 is too much computer to serve as a secondary computer. People are using it as their main machine, and I cannot justify having both. I can however justify having my mbp and the 11.6" ;)

So, yay? 1.6ghz, 4gb ram, 128gb ssd, should arrive Tuesday!

Went a little nuts today:

Since clothes are ridiculously priced here in Greece, and pricey clothes arent even as good as Gap clothing, I went with some new winter stuff, and some sale stuff for the summer.

Got me a new pair of shades.

Some new polo's.

A nice new set of Seinnheiser headphones.

Its gonna get worse for me next month, as I want to pick up a few more things, like a Drobo.

Interesting developments indeed. ;) Or you could also have considered a 13.3" 1.86GHz, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD MBA that is the same price as what you've ordered. :)

Anyway, congrats on your purchase. :)

Exactly what I did. Ordered Ultimate 13" and realized its too much for a secondary and go the Ultimate 11" and I could not be happier. Perfect secondary computer :) You'll love it!

Metal utility cart and Sea & Sea 2G set

To organize my diving gear, I purchased a metal utility cart to hang my 2 wet suits and 1 dry suit and to store my rest of diving gear.

I also picked up my Sea & Sea 2G unit. Going forward, I won't lose this in the water.

Oooo thanks! Glad to hear I am not the only one. The Ultimate 13" is too much for a secondary, too little for a main machine for me. Hopefully the 11" will fit that niche even though it is an expensive little bugger. Going to miss this machine though.

I don't know anything about diving so... what's the difference between a wet suit and a dry suit? Thanks.

A dry suit is to keep you dry in the water, except for your hands and head. So, with a dry suit on, you can dive with your regular cloth on inside a dry suit. It comes in handy when it gets cold outside and under water. With a wet suit, as the term suggests, you get wet as a suit is not water proof (but, it keeps the body relatively warm).
