well my friend and I left around 4:30 to get our tanks filled. Buuuuut he had a compressed air tank so dicks sporting goods didn't fill them. And a scuba shop near us wouldn't do it because it was a hassle. And the only place that we heard would, closed at 4:30. So he has to wait till tomorrow.

Then my tank kept leaking when I screwed it in. So we went back and found the guy filling it broke a disk piece. So I only got to shoot 3 balls on my front lawn. But I at least got 500 paintballs at dicks sporting goods.

Glad to see another paintball fan on here! :D

Haha, at this time I am only a fan. My friend, who I bought it off of, says we are going this weekend for some woods ball. I'm stoked!

No worries! The first time I got my paintball gear, I was just a fan too and continued to be one for 2/3 months. Woods ball is awesome! What varient are you guys planning on doing? Any sceanrios? I've only played one game of woods ball before, usually play speed ball. :p I have a couple of those paintball boxes too and I wish I could shoot for fun around here but sadly, I live in the middle of a city. :(

Haha no idea . I assume we will keep it simple. One of the other people are new at the game too. So probably free for all or basic team elimination. And about how many games does 500 balls/12 oz tank last?

With your Tippman probably 4-5 games. You might wan to get a little more. Sometimes buying online saves you a lot of money. I used to be big into paintball too.

Speedball better :D

That's not bad. They say we play till we run out of air. So as I long as I get some games in I'll be happy. And right now my priority is to get a mask. But after that I'll look into more paintballs, and bigger tanks. What is a good size? I was thinking 20 but I saw a 24. But I don't know if it's too much to carry.

Free for all will be hectic. :D 500 paintballs usually last me around 2/3 hours. Is your tank a CO2 tank? If so, it's hard to tell but it should last you at least one full box. :) So you'll definitely get a few good games in. Did you say which tippman you had? (I might have missed it) I have a 98 custom and A-5. If you're looking to get a mask, I recommand the Dye i4. Excellent mask - nice coverage and very comfortable. :D 12 oz is usually pretty small. I use a 20 oz since it's easier for movement and lighter (I'm on the small side :p). I thought 24 oz was a bit too big.

It's co2 and it's a tippmann custom pro. And as for the mask, I may be trading for 2 masks(one was bought for $150), tanks and more paintballs. But I'm not sure if I am or not. Still not sure. I'll be sure to post what kind of stuff I get.

You've got a good beginner gun. :) And once you play some more, you can customize it farther which is always good. CO2 is hard to predict because it leaks gas, if you ever explore paintball more, try an HPA tank - more expensive (~200) but better for your gun. ;)

My most recent purchase and wasteful purchase. I bought it hoping I could slim down my disk usage to under 40GB with the os and I failed. The slimmest I could do is 65GB with the os and all the programs and data I need on a daily basis. Waste of $95. I can't return it either so what to do with it now I don't know. it was on sale so I can't return it.

If you want it in your MBP, put it in your optical drive bay. You can keep your original hard drive for data storage, and put your OS and apps on the SSD.

I think you need an intervention soon if you buy anymore laptops :D:D:D

Haha. Can't pass up a good deal. Sadly I am not limited to purchasing apple laptops, so a lot of money is spent!

This is a very doable solution. I have a 16gb ssd on my HP mini which I hackintoshed, and I was able to run my OS and apps off 16gb (with the bare essentials of course)..and keep all my data on an SD card.

Last purchase - a custom cable for my UE5Cs that have been just sitting around since my original cable broke a few months ago.

Was your previous cable a braided one? My new customs have the braided cable with a 90º plug and it feels stronger than the flimsy one that my Triple Fi's have...I'm hoping it lasts longer :-\

Littman Master Classic II in black. Engraved with my name so I don't lose it...or rather it stands a chance of coming back when I do!

Nice scope! I have the same one, minus the engraving.
