How is the Atrix? How are H+ speeds compared to 3G speeds? And if you've had an iPhone before, whats you impression on Atrix vs iPhone.

Its speeds disappoint, on Telus I usually get 4-6 megabits down and 3-4 megabits up on my iPhone 4. With the Atrix it barely goes over 3 megabits down and it never goes over 300 kilobits up due to some software lock on HSUPA that moto has implemented for AT&T.
The screen does not compare to the iphones, the higher res(for an android phone) is nice but the pentile matrix bothers me. Also the viewing angles are nowhere near as good, colours are very subdued and the one I have has pretty bad backlight bleed. I didn't really test the camera much because the shots I did take looked bad when viewing them on the phone.
Call quality is good, the browser seemed really fast until I compared it to the updated ios 4.3 speeds on the iphone 4.
Motoblur pretty much was the nail in the coffin for making me completely dislike the device when using it as the launcher it makes the phone have pauses doing things which should be smooth on such powerful hardware. Launcherpro helps but the negatives outweigh the positives vs the iphone 4.
The only advantage it seems to have is the tegra 2. I think anyone looking to pick up an android phone should either wait or buy something that isn't the atrix.
Right now I have 3 android phones counting the atrix and even though they don't have tegra 2 I consider them better for having better screens and being more hackable, also even though I thought touchwiz was crappy it's better than motoblur, and htc sense 2 is the best android skin that I've used. However I wish all android devices came with the option to just use the stock theme(without hacking).

Interesting. I think I'd rather go for the Inspire over the Atrix. But I'd rather have an iPHone (for now) over all of those.
Yeah its so nice having a light camera again. The 18-250 I've had on forever makes the A200 quite chunky, but this 50mm is tiny compared to it

Was after 1password anyway so was a no brainer, as at the time I was thinking of Parallels as couldn't get Steam working well in VMWare to play Monkey Island. Yep, I know, it came as free today which is typical for me getting the bundle early. Oh well, Parallels is going go for now and liking 1password too.
