Nice. Unique T-shirts are hard to find, what's the quality, thickness like?

Good quality, good thickness.

I've ordered from them 3-4 times already, and I've been to their store in Chicago as well.

Looks like the sale is over though.....they do have sales pretty regularly, especially around holidays.

Last I heard Canadian shipping is pretty terrible. Wouldn't bother if I were you!

I don't remember it being terrible......the first time I ordered was ~4 years ago when I was still living in Toronto. If it was terrible, I wouldn't have placed the order.

It's possible that they've changed their policies since.

I remember when I checked, they only shipped via UPS, which is pretty much a big no-no for importing American items into Canaduh, as the brokerage fees will almost surely be at least 30% of the value. Now it seems they do either DHL or UPS. I'm not sure about DHL, but Threadless doesn't have their own customs broker like other American retailers, so it appears to be shot in the dark as to whether or not a Canadian customer will get dinged by customs fees! :( I imagine you got lucky.

I generally only order from outside the country if the seller agrees to ship via their national postal service, or has a dedicated customs broker to clear the merchandise. That way I either get charged nothing, or just HST (still a whopping 13%, but better than the UPS alternative). It's the same issue that keeps me from buying stuff here on the Marketplace or off of American eBay retailers. :(

Anyway, my last purchase was a Hoya 46mm UV filter for my 20mm f1.7:

And a 46-52 step-up ring from eBay so I can use my Fisheye adapter on my GF1. :D

Yeah, I'm sure it'll taste like five bucks.

I think they may have shipped it USPS (which transferred to Canada Post) back when I ordered from them. There were no extra costs. Maybe I did get lucky. I'm like you....I never ordered from outside of Canada because of the customs fees that jacked up the price. That usually made it not worth it.

See that's the thing, I have seen the same cigar at other places for up to 20 bucks. This guy had a new shop he opened on Monday so all of his prices are really low. They are a lot lower than any other place I have been in.

Well, hopefully it's good. I haven't smoked a cigar in ten years.......I only smoked Cubans.

However, now that I live in CA, I'm able to legally buy stuff that is much more fun to smoke.:p:D

They definitely offer a "standard shipping" aside from the UPS now. It's $9 to ship a shirt to Nova Scotia, from what I just checked. It's a 1-3 week shipping timeframe though, as opposed to UPS which is anywhere from 1-5 days depending on what you want to pay. I'd say it's worth the wait to not pay double or triple for shipping :p

Sometimes you get lucky and don't have to pay customs anyway. I recently bought three shirts from DistrictLines - two orders, one with two shirts and a second order with the other shirts. The order with two shirts (~$40) cost me an extra $25 in customs, the order with the single shirt (~$25) cost nothing. But then, I'm not sure how customs works, what values it starts at, etc.

Got bored and ordered a clear back plate for my IP4. Looks pretty cool.

I've been looking for something like that for a while! Ordered the one without the apple logo and a pentalobe screwdriver so I can take the back cover off my mums iPhone so she can have my old metal cover.

Marware CEO premiere. Couldn't find any reviews for it, but I like the leather look way more than the carbon fibre.

plus a new OEM glass back for my iP4 (pretty bad scratch :( ) annnnd a black pinlo slice 3. Loving it a lot so far. So thin, feels great.

That is about the right price for them. $20 for them is 4 times too much. Check out puff (dot) com. If your local stores are selling them for around $20 a cigar your best bet is to buy them online, even with shipping cost it will be so much cheaper.
