Two part answer.

I asked because it looks like a really old design for a hammer drill. The design language should be newer.

I work in construction and I can assure you that Bosch Bulldogs are very common. They may not be the newest on the market (I personally went with a Hilti) but they are tough as nails. Just saw one on a job site today. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ;)

How's the week hound work for you? I was forced to use one as a child and it was a torturous tool that did more damage than good. Maybe I was just resentful though because I didn't want to be pulling weeds all summer.

Well, I just bought my first house last fall so this is all still kind of new to me but I like it. It really grabs those lil' suckers and rips out the whole root. It does make a quarter sized 2" divot, but I figure it's no worse than an aerator does. I guess we'll see how I feel about it next spring. ;) :)

Maybe my issue with the weed hound wasn't the tool but the crap I was pulling with it. That or my crappy attitude. But really, crab grass tends to creep and sprout new roots every few inches making it hard to completely pull from one spot. Add to the being mixed in with bermuda grass that acts in a similar manner and you have a rats nest of crap going on. I recommend zoysia's instead.

That hammer drill is a great tool and I'm sure its tough as nails. It just looks like an old design. All the newer ones I've seen have been updated a look a lot more modern.

Finally get to replace my iphone 3g, with its horrible camera (proof as seen) and that stuck green pixel that won't stay unstuck. It drives me nuts.

Oh and new ipad.

That's a spectacular television. Nice purchase! Make sure to post pics when you get it.

I plan on going 3D in the next six months or so, but still debating what I want to tackle first. Another 5870 and a 120Hz monitor, so I can play my PC games in 3D? Or a 3D television so I can play my PS3 and Blu Rays in 3D? My 3DS will have to give me my fix for now. :p

Anyhoo, my last few purchases...

inFAMOUS is only $10 at BestBuy. I've heard good things. #768 in the backlog.

A right-angle SATA cable (Gotta love Amazon. I ordered this at 4pm yesterday, and it arrived around noon today):

And finally, 10 copies of my capstone project. $440
