Did they fix all the bugs/glitches with New Vegas? I had trouble finding a recent discussion on it, last one I found said they fixed some but the longer you play uninterrupted the worse they get.
Nice, I'm waiting for LA Noire to come in.
How's the fallout DLC? Is it as glitchy as the main game?
I've now played through most of the
"Honest Hearts" DLC. It is excellent from a story and gameplay perspective. New Vegas really tells a great story, and this DLC is some of the best. Great missions, awesome new weapons,
"new" enemies to fight. It was good fun. I got well over 6 hours out of it, and there is still some leveling to do. Each new DLC raises the level cap 5, so the new limit is 40. Plus, unlike Dead Money, once you finish this DLC, you can return to the area if you want to keep fighting enemies.
It is still a bit glitchy. I had it freeze up on me once, and I had a cutscene get
"stuck" at a point where I couldn't interact with anything. Luckily, both of those things happened very shortly after an auto-save, so no real harm done. After 200+ hours in Fallout 3, and well over 150 so far in New Vegas, I'm pretty used to just saving a lot.
The glitch you mention, as far as I know, does relate to play length. The longer your individual play sessions are, the bigger the internal game save file gets, and thus results in longer load times, and the increased possibility of a crash. If I'm playing for extended periods of time, like on weekends or days off, I just save often, then every 3-4 hours I quit back to the dashboard and then reload the game and my most recent save. That has mitigated most of the crashes I originally had when the game first launched.
