160GB SSD and 8GB RAM for the ole reliable Al MacBook. This should be good for the next 3-4 years. :apple:

In any case, congratulations! That's awesome. New cars are always fun! Looks quite nice.

And congratulations on graduating, too!

I have an '08 myself and it's a great car! Trying to get out of the lease to go back to school, but a great car none the less.

In other news, I bought this and love it so far:

They say Michigan has 2 seasons, winter and construction, I concur. After spending almost 2 hours each way on the approximate 98 mile road trip to Micro Center I've finally gotten a new MacBook Pro (specs in the sig) and I think I'm too tired now to set it up. Getting old stinks.

Holy crap, went through the same darn thing a couple weeks ago! Left Livonia around 3 and didn't get home until almost 7 on a Thursday! It was ridiculous for what should have been a 2 hour trip at most. 39 is closed at 96, 75 is closed at 696. It's completely ridiculous and I felt the exact same way when I got home. :)

Honestly, on the way home, I was thinking it would have almost been worth spending an extra $100(edu discount) to drive 20 min to the Apple Store in Novi and skip the terrible trip.

I had been renting call of duty black ops and finally decided to buy it. Target had a special and I got modern warfare 2 for free. Sweet!

Finally I can put my 7d down and try full frame..

Congrats! I've used the 5D Mk.II as well, same flash as you've got, along with another external flash on a stand, and 24-70mm and 24-105mm lenses. It was the first time I used that camera and I found the controls utterly confusing. But the images fortunately turned out well. :) It does lovely images.

My last purchases were:

ThinkTankPhoto EP-NSI (x2)
ThinkTankPhoto HydroPhobia 70-200 (x1)
ThinkTankPhoto HydroPhobia 300-600 V2 (x1)

That's the 300-600 rain cover:

Sydney has been hit with heavy rain recently and it caused some problems for my photography. Problem now solved - thanks to Adorama and the strong Australian dollar. :D
